You are not alone.

A person with a penis is a male. A person with a Y chromosome is a male. You cannot change your biological makeup, however much you want to, it's immutable. YANBU.

YANBU - it May interest you to know that the Met police have been recording crime in whatever gender the person says they are since 2009, I think. There were six women convicted of the offence of rape the other year. In England the offence of rape requires s penis (there is one exception which is if a woman for example holds the victim down they can be convicted of participation, however that has only happened once I’ve heard of.)

Those six ‘female’ rapists have made the crime stats meaningless.

We don’t segregate by sex much - but when we do it’s important. Data collection, prisons etc.

The following places are allowing fully functioning (no surgery or hormones) men in

Women’s prisons (and yes women have been assaulted.)
Women’s locked psychiatric units (and yes women have been raped)
Women’s hospital wards.
The girl guides allows men to be housed in girls tents and shower with them without parents being notified
The YHA allows self certification into women’s dorms and showers
The Caledonian sleeper has announced the end of single sex berths.

I’m more of a women’s libber - I want liberation from the patriarchy. Because women will not be valued until we do.

The vast majority of us are/were supportive of trans people. They can share the gender stereotypes, the heels, the make up. No one gives a shit about that stuff. But when they started appropriating our bodies and telling us they are us, things changed.

Karen white identified into a women’s prison and went on to assault women within days of being there. Two additional facts about Karen:

Karen is a convicted child abuser - that women’s prison has a mother and baby unit, but the board still allowed Karen in.

Karen has form for using self ID to harm women. Karen used the same MO to enter a women’s psych ward where Karen repeatedly raped a young female patient, leaving her with serious injuries.

Atcthe moment, the prison board do this case by case - they had access to all this info and they STILL put a convicted child and woman abuser LOCKED IN with women. If self ID comes through, there will be no case by case. Any male prisoner will be able to ID into a women’s jail with no checks, no hormones, and no surgery. They just take their now female penis in with them.

No I think the whole climate around this is completely ridiculous. Of course women don't have penises. If men want to dress up in female attire that does not make them women. It's such a nonsense that I really can't wait until it all gets knocked on the head. We should not be encouraging our children to think it is easy to change gender. You will spend your entire life living a lie and attempting to pass as the opposite sex rather than celebrating what is special and unique about yourself.

Actually you can be a woman (XX chromosomes, even with a functioning uterus and ovaries) and have a penis. There are plenty of intersex people who are born with ambiguous genitalia or genitalia that doesn’t match their biological sex. Historically, we would call them “hermaphrodites” but intersex is the preferred medical term now. Many intersex people had their genders altered surgically at birth to appear unambiguously one or the other, but this gender selected by their parents doesn’t always match their biological sex and their sex hormones.

I don’t think that’s what you’re on about (not quite sure what you’re on about honestly?) but it’s important to remember that sex and gender aren’t always straightforward for everyone, particularly in previous generations when being born with birth defects carried a much bigger stigma than today.

That's made me feel physically sick. And utter despair. The poor young woman would have been vulnerable enough if she had to be in a psych ward. How wicked that those who should have been protecting her allowed a man to violate her.

You are not being unreasonable OP. It is driving me mad all this reporting of men dressed up as women and claiming they are actually women. All statistics are being tainted and they are saying that women are getting more violent when in fact when you look at the photos there's no question that these are not women.

It's really bloody annoying.

Women are discriminated against because of their biology not their thoughts or gender identity.
