In your school? That happened to come out as the truth, or a lie?.
Just finished reading a really good thread on it and would love to hear more.
When I was in school the rumour was the classic someone put a mars bar somewhere it shouldn't... and that a teacher was having an affair with a pupil. (Wasn't true). Oh we also had the pe teacher apparently having an affair with the English teacher. That was true!.

I had my own rumour. I have a serious health problem. School in there misguided wisdom decided that I needed a 1:1 at all times at school. This woman followed me around to every lesson. Thankfully she was really lovely but other kids couldn’t work out why this woman was with me all the time at school. My friends started a rumour that I was a foreign princess and that my welfare assistant was my personal bodyguard

At same school Geography teacher and my maths teacher were going out. Both great teachers and eventually got married and a couple of kids.

At primary school the usual ‘a past pupil died in the PE cupboard and was haunted for ever more.

Two girls in our year were “sharing” a boyfriend.... that boyfriend- True, it was one of our friends dads.

There was a rumour I had cancer, and another I had HIV- truth was I’d stopped attending school and lost loads of weight because I had ME and was too unwell to eat for much of the time.

A rumour that on of the smaller girls in our year ripped her boyfriends foreskin when they were having sex. I never had the guts to ask him!

A girl was having a baby in y9- true.

One of our science teachers was a man dressed up as a woman- couldn’t ever be sure!

Two of our teachers were married to each other- different last names. Turned out to be true. He gave me such a hard time at school for being feral, his daughter was actually worse! I turned up at my new friends house to see her parents were those teachers!

There was a rumour about one of thing ur teachers liking the girls too much, the boys often said they felt ignored in his classes, our old school started up teacher ratings online, when a few people mentioned similar sorts of stuff they looked into it. He had a child with one of the girls a few years above us. He no longer teaches there - I know it’s partially true

We had a ?lesbian PE teacher. She looked just like the meme of Sylvester Stallone with long hair and was constantly yelling at us to get in the shower after PE. Presumably to have a good oggle (all girls school), I don’t know whether she was but it’s highly likely she was a lesbian.
When we left school we had a boat party and afterwards one of the ex Yr 11’s ended up sleeping with a male science teacher. Never confirmed if it actually happened or not.

That the deputy head/art teacher was a paedophile. Unconfirmed but plausible.

He definitely 'accidentally' walked into the changing rooms when the girls were just coming out of the showers after cross country, and claimed he was looking for the girl's PE teacher.

I also inexplicably found my bra kept coming undone on days he taught me art, until I started wearing a front fastening bra in self defense. I told my mum and she told me off for making up stories,candidates said it must be one of the boys in my class undoing my bra through my shirt without me noticing. Impressive skills for an eleven-year-old boy...

At a different school, that the drama teacher had been Crossroads. True. We were all stunned when he turned up on "This is your Life" to shake the hand of his much more famous fellow actor.

One of our Food Tech teachers was rumoured to be a lesbian. And then one day she went off sick for a protracted amount of time, and the rumour was that some class had a put a lemon (which apparently = lesbian) in her drawer and she had found it and this had resulted in her having a nervous breakdown...

It seems highly unlikely to me now that a teacher would be that upset by finding a lemon in her drawer!

Completely true and more, he was arrested for inviting boys to his house and making them wrestle naked. Not sure how long he was in prison for.

Drunk science teachers, probably true by the slurring words and sleeping at his desk.

P.E teacher having an affair with science teacher, not sure if true but by rest of these posts probably is

In primary school the only rumour was that the deputy head was having an affair with one of the P.T.A mums, true they’ve been married a long time now.

PE Teacher with sons at the school, cheating on his wife with a 16 year old girl - true and well publicised in local media

English Teacher fired due to some kind of financial fraud (outside of work I believe) - true

Teacher dating 6th form student once she left school and then asked to leave by the school as they felt it was inappropriate - true

50-60 year old deputy head living with his parents his whole life - true

Year 10s organising orgy parties and taking Ket - true, they had a whole year assembly where the teachers tried to bring an end to it

Actually I can't think of a single interesting rumour that ultimately turned out to be a lie...

Just because the teacher in question was a lesbian it doesn’t negate her from being a pedophile. She could well have been a pedophile. It was never proven nor disproven which is what I said. As teenage girls we felt uncomfortable with being ordered about into showers naked. The showers were sub par without adequate coverage and she glared at us getting in them. Whilst that might seem inoffensive to you, it felt pedo like to us girls at the time!

Same midders hated it, all girls hated the parade, it was humiliating. If girls had been given timed amount in showers, or had got wet hair at least you can't do more, you don't have to stand and watch!!! As a consequence of her 'naked parade' we literally held towels high and ran through! None of us actually stopped to wash anything was the joke of it!! I used to feel grubby and sweaty still, but it was like a sheep dip where you just had to keep moving, fast!

Geography teacher was having a relationship with a 4th year. (Old money!) It was true. She was 14, he in his 30s. I know it lasted at least 3or 4 years. At the time Don't Stand so Close to me was No1 (I'm old, Ok!), which was sung in her her few times.

I was in the 3rd year at the time, and before I married we had the same first name and surname. Cue loads of people coming up to me to ask if it was true about me and the geography teacher.

He left before he was sacked.

Straight English teacher obsessively in love with the openly gay RE teacher. There might have been some grain of truth in it as she used to disturb his lessons for no important reason, and he looked fed up to the back teeth with her. Plus he was quite a looker in his irish-ness.

Others were girls sending condoms to the hot male teachers, no idea if that was true

If a girl was inexplicably absent for a period of time, it's cos she ran away from home (usually to be with forbidden, secret bf) might have been true for one case

Biology teacher and French teacher fought in Vietnam together - not true and actually started by one of the teachers involved as an experiment.

Female French teacher was in a porn mag - unconfirmed but seems unlikely.

Art Teacher had swastikas tattooed under his beard - unconfirmed but doubtful.

Female art teacher used be a model in the 60s - untrue, it was actually another male art teacher.

History teacher had a bizarre phobia, not saying what as it maybe identifying and if you placed these outside his door he wouldn't come in - unconfirmed by me but a friend swears it was true.

Loads of rumours of affairs between teachers, weirdly those which turned out to be true, two female games teachers, male geography teacher and female deputy head didn't seem to get picked u on.

That the music teacher kept condoms in his classroom for the kids - true

That the maths teacher kept condoms in his desk drawer along with alcohol - true

That the deputy head got cancer and died - not sure

That I had died - er...untrue

That one of girls took another lads virginity in KFC toilets. She was obese so a lot of cruel jokes went around about "bargain buckets"

That one lad went down on his girlfriend who got her period all over his face but he carried on anyway

As previously stated this was a rumor from my school days and has no reflection on my opinion on the subject today. I merely gave a description of the teacher which you clearly took offense to because it stated her sexual orientation. I appologise that you found it offensive but it wasn’t meant in that way. I am in no way shape or form homophobic. I couldn’t care less that she was a lesbian.

At my all boys grammar school the Classics Master was a kind, gentle soul who wouldn't say boo to a goose. His nickname was "Killer" and every new boy was told to watch out for him because he'd killed at least a dozen men with his bare hands.

True. He was killed in a tragic accident half way through my time at school and the local paper publish an obituary of him. He was a commando during the war with a string of gallantry awards as long as your arm.

I remember being told that there had been a party on the beach and two people in the year above had 'done anal' and he'd accidentally ripped her bum open and she haemoraged anally and had to go to hospital and explain to her parents how exactly she'd obtained her injuries . Even as an adult, i'm a bit scared that might be true but i'd hope not.

Also teachers getting off with each other, the archetypal 'lesbo PE teacher'. The male history teacher was in a relationship with male geography teacher. Same geography teacher also rumoured to be a perv. Same geography caught in a love triangle with another teacher's wife. Busy man!

That Mrs Science teacher and Mr Science teacher were having it off. True as we came back in September calling her Mr Science teacher's surname

That the creepy as hell IT teacher was having it off with male pupils. True and eventually left the school to carry on with one of the pupils

The classics teacher was up to all sorts with the female 6th formers. True.

And a bizarre reverse one. An act of criminal damage occurred that was so impossible it never happened and the rumour in the school was that it was just a rumour. The teachers strongly denied it.
False actually because I was heavily involved in said criminal damage especially the 'procurement' of the materials used.

Science teacher had a glass eye. Art teacher had a wooden leg - both remain a mystery.

Music teacher was gay - false because he married female english teacher.

Drama teacher only ever wore black since her dad died when she was young - false, she was just a goth.
