Whether it's a lot depends partly on what your income will be when you go back to work, and what your capacity will be to pay it off.

BiscuitDrama · 26/10/2018 15:54

Zero. I’d be happy with up to £3k. Also I’d imagine maternity leave is a joint spend?

Kokapetl · 26/10/2018 15:55

About £500 which will be paid off at the end of the month. The interest rates if you don't pay the full amount are really high, unless you have an 0% deal.

AmIAWeed · 26/10/2018 15:56

Around 17k..... I'm working on it! Cut them up when I realized I was at 20k

BreconBeBuggered · 26/10/2018 15:57

Nothing. Only use them for protection for larger purchases, so they're paid off as soon as the item arrives and is satisfactory.

Stormwhale · 26/10/2018 15:58

£153

anxiousmotherof1 · 26/10/2018 15:59

I have 5500 on a 0% card .
Once i go back to work and After paying for everything each month i will have 500 left to spare which i will use to pay off the card

Zero. We only charge what we can pay off in full.

I’ve had credit card debt only once when I started my first professional job. It required very nice clothing and even came with a signing bonus to help pay for those clothes, but I had to put them on my card and wait for my first paycheck to pay them off.

Goingcrazyah · 26/10/2018 16:00
