Fucking morons

Deathgrip · 24/10/2018 13:23

1 in 10 women have endometriosis.
Slightly more have fibroids
Slightly less have PCOS
Then there’s ovarian cysts, ovarian torsion, pelvic inflammatory disease, pelvic congestion, vaginismus, and on and on
A large percentage of women have children and the physical, mental and financial impact of that to deal with.
Yet more have to deal with being completely dismissed by medics.

How can a trans woman understand any of this?

NoodleEatingPoodle · 24/10/2018 13:26

Twitter link please?

Melondramatic · 24/10/2018 13:31

death i know women who have tried to kill themselves over the agony and hoplessness of endometriosis

Ii myself have had MONTHS off work due to symptoms. I know women who cant work at all. How many of us have had hysterectomies??

It is total madness and dials us back about 100 years

tripe2 · 24/10/2018 13:33

What an utter load of tripe.

The only bit I agree with is that women cannot know what it is like to be a trans woman - which does not mean that a trans woman should hold this post. It means it should be held by a tolerant open minded woman who is educated about real trans issues.

It also works the other way however - a trans woman cannot know what it is like to be a woman. They are deluded and nonsensical.

Why the desperation to push us out - I don’t get it.

tripe2 · 24/10/2018 13:35

And why - stupid question maybe - are trans men not behaving in the same way? Why is it the trans women lobby which is so strong?

PiperPublickOccurrences · 24/10/2018 13:37

Would love to know how Lily would understand the issues I had with being pregnant, giving birth three times through my vagina, having a mahoosive fibroid, horrendous periods and then an abdominal hysterectomy.

Women relate because they have my anatomy. Women. Adult human female.

Not a teenage, petulant transwoman who Labour are holding up as a shining beacon of equality.

JellySlice · 24/10/2018 13:43

Presumably pregnacy and childbirth, being natural events, don't even count among "the very few issues that pertain to having a vagina womb and ovaries" (not to mention being privileges, and therefore transphobic to consider). Thus the disadvantages women have in employment, due to these non-issues, do not need to be considered by women's officers.

Mintychoc1 · 24/10/2018 13:45

can you send a link to the facebook page? I'd like to comment

StormCloudsDoClear · 24/10/2018 13:45

Arghhggg what utter fucking shit is this?!

No person born with a penis will ever know my unique biological issues associated with the fact I have a fucking vagina/womb/ovaries.

Fuck off! Call yourself Sharon, lop your fucking dick off and put on a froc but don't ever, ever think you can council me on infertility, stillbirth, miscarriages and ovarian cancer.

I'm livid...

SlothSlothSloth · 24/10/2018 13:45

It’s exceptionally mad when you consider that they’re talking about Lily Madigan. She is a totally non-passing trans woman, meaning no one will look at her and think for a moment she has female biology. Most will think of her as, at most, a feminine gay man (although she is of course only attracted to women and identifies as a “lesbian”). There is very little overlap between the issues faced by non-passing trans women and other women. ONLY trans women who pass well enough to that people don’t realise they’re trans will experience some of the same issues other women face - and even then only SOME.

There should be a women’s officer, an LGB officer and a trans officer.

tripe probably because transmen were born women, so they learned young to keep their mouths shut!

SlothSlothSloth · 24/10/2018 13:47

And why - stupid question maybe - are trans men not behaving in the same way

Come on. You know why.

Disquieted1 · 24/10/2018 13:47

"And why - stupid question maybe - are trans men not behaving in the same way? "

I honestly don't know, but maybe men do not feel threatened by trans men the same way? I'm not talking safe spaces or anything like that, just that if a trans man said "Apart from the very few issues that pertain to having testicles, prostates and penises, I can speak for the male gender" men would just smile and carry on. They wouldn't be bothered or get angry {as evidenced by the lack of involvement of non-trans men men i.e. men (this is all so difficult) in trans issues generally}.
I have this image in my mind of a chihuahua barking like mad at a Great Dane, who just stands there and ignores it.

JellySlice · 24/10/2018 13:47

Some TWs believe that they have always been women, therefore they have had the full female socialisation experience, no matter their lived reality. That makes them better women than us, because they have experienced the true trauma of not having periods despite being women, whereas we have had the privilege of never having society misgender us.

🤮

RedToothBrush · 24/10/2018 13:50

Good, good! This is fabulous news.

That means I'm really qualified to speak and represent. I have a trans sibling and have ovaries.

Sorry fellow MumsNutters and Trans Women, get behind me in the queue. I should be Emperor and Divine Ruler according to that logic.

I'm sure I can think of more ridicilous reasons to support my supremecy and why I'm the best person out there to represent the entire world.

My great great grandfather was working class, therefore I'm from a working class background. And I've got some friends who aren't white, and we get on pretty well. I have documented anxiety issues, so maybe I could self identify as disabled. I'm also really short so I can represent the interests of people who struggle to reach the top shelf at the supermarket and how discriminatory this is. I look younger than my actual age so I can represent both older groups and the youth vote. I'm even trans northern!!!

Unless of course, one of you can out do me, in your repressed identity CV.

Pamspeople · 24/10/2018 13:51

Even if I put the actual trans stuff to one side, how could anybody vote for someone who has told women to f off etc on social media? They are just so politically useless!

SaucyJack · 24/10/2018 13:53

Batshit. Be like me putting myself forward as a spokeswoman for the deaf community because I’ve had the same life experiences as them- bar the minor and irrelevant issue of not being deaf myself.

AlphaBravo · 24/10/2018 13:55

From her latest tweets... "I'm on a high dose of mophine and cognitive function is impaired"... No. Fucking. Shit.

Elementtree · 24/10/2018 13:57

But Saucy you'd be the most oppressed deaf person in the world on account of the fact that you could still hear.

RedToothBrush · 24/10/2018 13:57

can you send a link to the facebook page? I'd like to comment

Sorry, I don't believe thats possible.

The Thought Police delete any comment like that on Facebook. Lewisham Momentum page for Lily is like swiss cheese with people saying shouty stuff at no one.

And a Labour Party Fb page are the subject of a Times article today, for being temporary banned for linking to Times article written by the former chair of the ultra right wing extremist group known as the Equalities and Human Rights Commission.

Women aren't just unsuitable of representing trans people, they are also unsuitable to be on the internet cos they express danger views.

AlphaBravo · 24/10/2018 13:58

Momentum are going to be the total downfall of the Labour party. Why aren't they addressing this properly from the inside.

The fact that some brainwashed 20yr old can decide my future as a woman and my rights is fucking terrifying. As for lowering the voting age... can we put it up to at least 28?!

This girl is living in the fucking clouds. How can anyone want to push a neolib agenda at the expense of her own sex/gender.

It is insanity.

glueandstick · 24/10/2018 13:58

Fuck this shit.

I now identify as a man because it’s going to be so much bloody easier than this shit women have to put up with.
