It is interesting that the vast majority of vocal trans women have not bothered to have surgery to remove their male parts.

Especially in the light of the huge push for puberty blockers. Why is it OK for kids to grow up with pre-pubertal genitals & face the prospect of surgery?

BiologyMatters · 26/10/2018 13:35

Anyone willing to play along with Karen whites delusion that they're a woman is so far removed from reality they're not worth listening to.

CaveMum · 26/10/2018 14:13

I do love rolling this one out

to think that your female reproductive organs actually matter?
BitOfFun · 26/10/2018 14:34

It's perfect, isn't it, CaveMum?

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 26/10/2018 16:24

Because trans women are women.

No, they are not. They are men who like to think they are women, despite all evidence to the contrary.

Transwomen are transwomen.

Women do not have penises.

Women are adult human females.

AvoidingDM · 26/10/2018 18:16

Can I summaries this in a sentence?WOmen have WOmbs, TransWOmen do not.

AvoidingDM · 26/10/2018 18:17

Actually somebody once said to me you become a WOman when your WOmb is mature.

nonetworkaccess · 26/10/2018 20:02

I'm still waiting for Feminist4 to answer my questions at 22:58 and 19:27

CaveMum · 26/10/2018 21:14

Don’t hold your breath nonetworkaccess, I asked about what she had to say re archeologists using biological markers to identify human remains (and that a trans woman’s skeleton would be flagged as male) this morning.

Still no answer.

RedToothBrush · 26/10/2018 21:17

Did you know today is intersex awareness day?

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 27/10/2018 08:57

Don’t hold your breath nonetworkaccess, I asked about what she had to say re archeologists using biological markers to identify human remains (and that a trans woman’s skeleton would be flagged as male) this morning.

I asked this once of a TRA / ally, in another thread. The response was that the archaeologist wouldn't know the difference between male and female children, thus evading the question.

noeffingidea · 27/10/2018 09:10

Disrespectful I think they can even on prepubescent children.Isn't the pelvis different, and the thighs set into the hips at a different angle?

VisitorsEntrance · 27/10/2018 09:20

Well let’s ignore the archeology.

What about someone who is discovered naked and unconscious? You are the person who finds them and calls the ambulance. What are I you going to tell the call handler?

NothingOnTellyAgain · 27/10/2018 09:22

In museums with skeletons they have the sex of the children though.

We were ? British museum recently and a child was labelled as girl of 6 or 8 or something.

I think it's rather macabre but that's another thread!

borntobequiet · 27/10/2018 09:25

Nub theory seems to be a thing on Mumsnet - predicting the sex of a foetus depending on the shape of the skull (I think). Unfortunately it appears to be nonsense, and transphobic nonsense at that!

borntobequiet · 27/10/2018 09:28

(The transphobic bit in my last post was a joke, in case anyone jumps on me.)

saoirse31 · 27/10/2018 09:32

Idiocracy come to life. Simple question, if cis women can't speak for transwomen due to not having experienced being trans, then how can trans women speak for CIA women, not having experienced being cis women?

If that's genuine labour party policy then don't see how anyone with a brain could vote labour tbh... What's next in terms of discriminating against a huge percentage of your nembership.? Or rather who's next?

saoirse31 · 27/10/2018 09:34

Cis not ciaSmile

AvoidingDM · 27/10/2018 09:35

Thinking outloud.

Female pelvis isn't solid, it has a "join" at the front, to allow for child birth. Woman who has suffered pelvic pain during pregnancy will tell you about it.

Male pelvis is solid, no join.

Children have more bones than adults. Kids bones fuse together therefore reducing the number of individual bones.

Is that join at the front something that fuses in boys but not in girls? If so when does it happen? Somebody must know.

saoirse31 · 27/10/2018 09:37

You'd have to wonder, if a well financed political party was set up, with generally left wing policies, but with out the crazy disenfranchisement of women, how would it do?

NothingOnTellyAgain · 27/10/2018 09:41

Dominant classes always feel they can speak for subordinate classes

Whether it's wealth, class, race, sex.

Mansplaining is a thing.

Men also feel v comfortable rejecting female narrative and using their own for us... our testimony is seen as flawed- exaggerated, driven by emotion not fact, "misinterpretation ", outright lies. Many/ most men feel they see more clearly and are "factual" and so casually tell us to shut up and they will handle better/ properly....

RedToothBrush · 27/10/2018 09:43

Oh I thought archaeologists had discovered DNA testing, and had used it on skeletons dating back to Ancient Egyptian times.

My mistake.

Must keep up with this new science lark.

NothingOnTellyAgain · 27/10/2018 09:44

The screenshot in op is an excellent example of this.

Massive swathes of female concern are dismissed casually

Rape
Street harassment
Pregnancy childbirth and everything related to that
Way women are under diagnosed for lots of things and over diagnosed for others
Pay gap
Etc and so on

Are all just hand waved away

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 27/10/2018 09:47

I think they can even on prepubescent children. Isn't pelvis different, and the thighs set into the hips at a different angle?

That's a good question to which I don't know the answer. Maybe someone who knows more about physiology can weigh in?

DisrespectfulAdultFemale · 27/10/2018 09:49

Ah. I see that others have commented. Thanks, all!
