Black bars blocking MN threads (mobile site)?

To be honest, I'm more irritated that mumsnet haven't fixed it yet. Started getting this a few days ago on my phone. Black sections blocking out parts or the whole of threads on the mobile site. Had a search and apparently a thread was started about it in site stuff on the seventh of October! Mumsnet said they'd take a look at it but no word for a while now. Seemed to be Samsung devices mainly but also a few Sony. AIBU to use this thread to see how widespread the problem is and urge MN to do something about it?

(Hopefully not a TAAT because this is about the problem not the other thread. Just mentioned the other thread to avoid suggestions that I post in site stuff and to highlight the duration of the issue.)

Happening to me on Sony. I was worried l had an internal crack in screen which was what the cause was last time my screen filled up with black strips. I find if you zoom in on the black it disappears.

Are MN even attempting to fix this issue? It's making the site almost impossible to use!

MyOtherProfile · 27/10/2018 23:15

It stopped for a while which was lovely but it's just started again.

Yep really bad today. Samsung S9 and chrome.

MsHopey · 30/10/2018 11:18

Samsung here. I thought I'd caught a virus or something.
I'm actually relieved to see it's a mumsnet issue!

RedFallLeaf · 30/10/2018 15:51

Samsung s6 using chrome - thought it was just my side. Didnt realise it was a site wide issue
