Black bars blocking MN threads (mobile site)?

To be honest, I'm more irritated that mumsnet haven't fixed it yet. Started getting this a few days ago on my phone. Black sections blocking out parts or the whole of threads on the mobile site. Had a search and apparently a thread was started about it in site stuff on the seventh of October! Mumsnet said they'd take a look at it but no word for a while now. Seemed to be Samsung devices mainly but also a few Sony. AIBU to use this thread to see how widespread the problem is and urge MN to do something about it?

(Hopefully not a TAAT because this is about the problem not the other thread. Just mentioned the other thread to avoid suggestions that I post in site stuff and to highlight the duration of the issue.)

Oh God, I thought I was going mad! I'm so glad other people are having the same issue. I'm on a Sony somethingorother. I've found refreshing the page gets rid of it but sometimes only for a couple of seconds.

This was with a Eurostar advert

Samsung s7 and chrome. It used to happen occasionally but it's been pretty much unreadable for the last couple of days.

Likewise with the used to happen occasionally, but it's now on every thread immediately. It's virtually impossible to use.

Samsung Galaxy s8, using chrome.

I get black bars, then the page from the top again. Reloading stops it.

Happening on my Huawei as well (can't remember the model name, sorry!) if i try to post it freezes as I type too

I thought it was just me and my new phone!

Not only do I get the large black blocks, but it then also repeats replies below the black blocks.

It's also just happened as I've tried to write this, so I've had to refresh the page to write it.

I'm another one on a Huawei using Chrome.

Same problem on my Samsung along with the repeating posts under the black boxes. Not happening on any other site. Very annoying! But relieved to see it's not just my phone

Oh totally assumed this was just me- using my new Huawei P20 pro.
