I'm so sick of the bigotry now. Surely these people just want to have a piss in peace without being hassled?
What rights is it exactly that the trans activists are shit scared that women are going to lose out on?
I wish they'd all just be quiet and let others live their lives how they see fit without reprisal or judgement from narrow minded idiots.
I honestly feel that this debate is just a platform for the bigots to congregate to attack a minority because we all know what attaching ethnic minorities, gays, lesbians etc is just not acceptable. How is this any different?

Women deserve just as much rights and safety as the trans community do yet they are losing their battle because of people like you. Who don’t see the problem with having a penis inside a women’s jail. Or in a woman’s refuge. Or hostel

I think that those trying to push cross sex hormones on 12 year olds and trying to erode the rights of women by forcing themselves into women's spaces will be the ones on the wrong side of history actually.

Well obviously they wouldn't. What a strange idea. Women who request female HCP don't do it because they think male HCPs have no motive than seeing their vagina. They accept them as legitimate HCPs. They just, for personal - sometimes religious - reasons don't feel comfortable having an intimate examination from them. For many (most?) women this wouldn't be different if the HCP identified as female - it's the male body they object to.

Also, I assume by 'transgender man' you actually mean transwoman? Terminology matters a lot to trans people.

People who cannot understand why women don't want to share their toilets, changing rooms, refuges, prisons and sports with males need to engage their brains. Big time.

Here’s a brilliant example

The ponds in London. Men who identified as women were allowed to swim in the women’s ponds.

Some women decided to try doing the same thing to the men’s ponds. The men kicked up such a stink, the police were called and the women were removed.

Woman = adult human female. Women don't have penises. Pensises don't belong in women only spaces or women's sports. We have human rights, too.

If you've got kids you probably have peed with the door open. I regularly have to pee with the door open and the buggy in the doorway. Little children often also have the door open so mum can help them.

I actually have no problem with a genuine transexual in a toilet with me. I'm sure they are not interested in me going to the toilet. I have a problem with self id opening the door to anyone who feels like it.

Trans people do have all human rights.

Self-id is about people wanting to effectively declare themselves into the opposite sex without any legal or medical restrictions or requirements.

It means that women will not be able to object to male born people in hitherto female only spaces because anyone will be able to declare themselves female even without hormones, medical intervention, or therapy.

It won't be possible in day to day life to differentiate between 'honest trans' and men who say they are trans wanting to get access to female only spaces.

The trans activists have tried to stifle debate #nodebate, lobbying to get legitimate meetings by womens group who just want to discuss the proposed changes to the GRA cancelled, stop academic work into gender issues (see today's Guardian letter). This is so different to e.g. the debate that was had over e.g. gay marriage where different views were discussed openly.

This thread makes me wonder how many other confused people catch snippets like 'trans activist convicted of assaulting woman at Speakers Corner' or 'trans activists intimidate and harass attendees of public meeting on proposed law change' or 'trans activists regularly threaten and bully feminists on social media' and think that it's the women doing the assaulting, the intimidating, and the threatening.

This is the problem with calling people by euphemisms for what they actually are: misogynistic men.

Where ARE these leisure centres where people are getting changed in one big communal room together? We have cubicles at all the ones in my large UK city.
