To think Megan is expecting?

I know it’s none of my business, but does anyone else think Megan Markle is pregnant? And why isn’t the UK media speculating?? They usually speculate about this stuff. The US media has written some comments about her choice of clothing, which looks to cover a bump. I assume, they want to keep it private. I love news about a royal baby 😀 and does anyone think Kate will have one more?

O MI GOD

While typing that out they make the announcement! Yay!!! Grin

Gingerrogered · 15/10/2018 09:05

The nose thing does work. I also guessed same about my recently pregnant SIL too before she told us. Honestly, you can scoff but it does happen. Once you know it you can spot it. It definitely also happened to my nose.

GrumbleBumble · 15/10/2018 09:06

Just announced by the palace!

SoupDragon · 15/10/2018 09:06

It was obvious in that blue coat that she didn’t take off even in church.

Obviously she is actually pregnant but by the coat reasoning so are all the other female guests who did not remove their coats in the church. Like the queen for example. 😂

treaclesoda · 15/10/2018 09:07

I have often guessed that friends are pregnant based on them somehow looking 'different' but I've never understood what was actually different. Maybe it was their nose? I'm going to have to find someone who is pregnant and get a good look at their nose!

Gingerrogered · 15/10/2018 09:07

They must be delighted it happened so quickly. And she looks great, pregnancy obviously suits her. And her nose.

MynameisJune · 15/10/2018 09:07

🙄🙄🙄

JacquesHammer · 15/10/2018 09:07

Ah what lovely news. I’m so pleased for them.

Feeling a bit of a twat now MilkTrayLimeBarrel eh?

What a wally Grin

StealthPolarBear · 15/10/2018 09:08

What happens to your nose exactly? Except sensitivity to smell

Dhapeer · 15/10/2018 09:08

Wow, started reading the thread this morning and lo and behold she's pregnant. Feel like I was there from the start hahhaha

placemats · 15/10/2018 09:08

I got pregnant straight away at 39. I did have a younger husband though. It was also my third full term pregnancy.

StealthPolarBear · 15/10/2018 09:09

Treacle you'll also need her non-pregnant identical twin. Or a photo, obviously

Thesnobbymiddleclassone · 15/10/2018 09:10

Confirmation from the palace they told the family they're expecting at Eugenie's wedding!!

Wow... talk about gatecrashing her day!!

Caprisunorange · 15/10/2018 09:14

Ha ha ha ha ha ha

Taylor22 · 15/10/2018 09:17

I just heard that they actually announced the pregnancy to family at the wedding.

I want to change my previous comment. That's poor form. They couldn't wait a single day? That pregnancy had to be announced at his cousins wedding?

OnceUponATimeInAmerica · 15/10/2018 09:17

Maybe she couldn't hide it once she took the coat off, so had to tell everyone?

Telling people you are pregnant doesn't take the shine off the day for others, generally it makes them happy for you.

ajandjjmum · 15/10/2018 09:18

I did wonder if that was why they didn't go to the evening party - so that her not drinking wouldn't be picked up.

Going home to finish their packing seemed a rather lame excuse! Grin

sollyfromsurrey · 15/10/2018 09:22

I find it hard to believe that they told the family at Eugenie's wedding. The trip will have been organised to the minute. The organisers would HAVE to have been told well before the day before they flew out. And the Queen would have been told before anyone.

JacquesHammer · 15/10/2018 09:24

Someone announced their pregnancy at my wedding. It was another lovely reason to celebrate.

I’m dying to know if the poster who refers to Eugenie and Beatrice as “blood princesses” is going to refer to the new baby as the “half-blood prince(ss)” Grin

Gingerrogered · 15/10/2018 09:24

Yes, but when the baby is 7th in line to the throne and the child of some of the most popular high profile royals it’s kind of a big deal. Plus kicking the bride down the pecking order to boot!

Although I have read that Harry is very, very close to Eugenie, so I suspect if it was announced at the wedding it would have been with Eugenie’s prior agreement. And if that was the case it would have been lovely for all the family to have had double the celebration.

Eugenie certainly didn’t look like she felt it had taken the shine off her day.

SillySallySingsSongs · 15/10/2018 09:27

I imagine Eugenie knee already.

All the cousins are very close. I would think Peter Phillips and Zara Find all knew too as they are extremely close to both William and Harry.

Cerseirys · 15/10/2018 09:29

This is literally all the Palace have said https://www.royal.uk/duke-and-duchess-sussex-are-expecting-baby

Nothing about announcing it at the wedding, that's just been assumed by the Daily Mail.

LadyRochfordsHoickedGusset · 15/10/2018 09:31

And there I was saying she was just being modest Smile, but she was in a way.

Gingerrogered · 15/10/2018 09:32

stealth, oestrogen makes your mucus membranes in your nose swell up. It causes swelling in other body parts and the same happens with HRT as a side effect too. It makes the noses of women in early pregnancy ever so slightly longer and the tip slightly rounder (or bulbous, but that seems to offend people apparently).
