Husband has blocked me on social media?!

Apologies in advance if I'm just being incredibly stupid or naive or paranoid! I'm not sure if i'm mad and unreasonable or not!

So I have just gone to upload a photo onto instagram, and tag my husband in it as it is a picture of our sons. I couldn't tag him.
I thought maybe he has deleted his instagram account (despite the fact that he uses it alot) so I searched for him and it came up that the account is private and I need to request to follow. (I couldn't see anything, not his bio or how many photos/followers he has)
I then logged out of insta and searched for him, and it came up that the account is private but did state how many posts/followers he has, as well as his bio.

The bio is another worry. It used to say "happily married father of two", now it just says "father of two".

Am I wrong to worry?! I don't know what to do. I haven't confronted him as we are both at work and he will just change it and make me out to be a nutter!

Had you been following him previously? My account is private and. You have to request to follow me.. doesn't mean anyone's blocked.

I think if you set your account to private then anyone and everyone has to ask to follow you. Sounds like he has just increased his security settings, but I would definitely ask him about it!

The blocking is one thing (that I would find unacceptable) but the bio change is really not a good sign at all. I'm sorry OP but I would seriously expect one of three things. A) He is cheating, b) he wants to cheat or c) he is intending on leaving the marriage.

Have you had an argument lately? Is he prone to tantrummy type behaviour? If you've had a fall out then he could have changed his bio in a hissy fit. Other than that I can't think of a single better explanation.

Is he likely to make out like you are the crazy one? If so, take screenshots of everything you've described here just in case he changes it all back or something, and then ask him about it!

If he’s blocked you you wouldn’t be able to find his account at all. He’s unfollowed you and switched his account to private.

Would you not just ask him about it..it's probably nothing, ask in a casual manner "do you know what's wierd? I tried to tag you in a cte pic of ds and realised I was'nt following you? Can you add me now?"

Sounds like he's updated his privacy. Just request to follow. If he doesn't let you, then there's a huge problem.

He could have accidently deleted you but the bio is concerning. If you tag him regularly you need to ask him outright what is going on. Do you know anyone who can view his account?.

Request to follow. It's a really sloppy way of having your head turned if that's what it is.

I'd be all-over that like a rash verbally tbh.

My oh blocked me on facebook years ago. I did used to enjoy winding him up on there tho. Plus I set his account up so will still log in and change his profile pic which drives him mad because he doesnt have a clue how to change it back

I'd be tempted to create a fake account with a photo of a stunning blonde and send him a request.

The bio change would really bother me. Especially as its not been completely changed, just the reference of your relationship deleted.

Thank you all for your replies. I will confront him when I'm home, and I have got screenshots so he cant deny it.

I used to follow him, and he followed me. Now he no longer follows me and I have to request to follow him. He has always had such security settings on his account, but I was a follower before and now I've been removed!

If this was my H I would assume he'd fucked up somehow and I'd ask him outright - especially about the 'happily married' thing. Have you reason to believe something's up?

If you change from an open account to private your existing followers are automatically approved and you have to manually kick them off. So he hasn't just changed to private and op now has to request to continue following. He has made a conscious decision to remove op from his followers

Op, leave work, get all financial paperwork together before he gets home. I suspect your marriage is over

Also I have asked my sister to have a look and she has been blocked too. She can see his followers (I cannot) and he has removed all of our family and mutual friends

I hate it when people say - what did he say when you asked him about it - thinking they are so witty. OP clearly said in the first post that she hasn't asked him and why.

OP that would bother me a lot. Do you have any other reason to be suspicious?

My husband blocked me because I kept liking photos of black standard poodles on two poodle sites. We haven't even got a dog.
