To think the tide is turning with transgenderism

There have been a flood of articles in mainstream newspapers criticising transgenderism and putting forward the feminist perspective. It is not long ago that no mainstream newspaper would carry these articles. The tide seems to be turning.

Do they really Verbeena? Because I am yet to see anyone actually provide evidence of these so called transphobic posts when people ask for them. They either run away or dance around the question. Pretty much like what you're doing.

Ever thought why people don't answer? Maybe they've given up fucking trying like I have as there's no point when nobody can see.

There's been a "we see you", a "bro" and a "handmaiden", its been a veritable FWR bingo session. Plus the obligatory "one poster furiously posting 'no it isn't, show me, prove it!' over and over." We got the whole experience, don't forget to check the gift shop!

That makes no sense Verbeena because nobody has ever shown us any transphobic post when asked.

In the time you've spent arguing with me you could have easily directed me to a transphobic post on this thread.

For one thing, please don't attempt to claim feminism solely for the gender critical- there are many, many feminists who are not gender critical.

It would be nice if people could refrain from calling those women who disagree with them on these issues 'handmaidens'. What you hope to achieve by offending and belittling other women I don't know.

Young people are overwhelmingly trans positive. They see your position in the way that my generation sees that of those who supported section 28. There's no need to shout at me about how the gender critical approach to trans issues is nothing like section 28 and you're not transphobic so you can't be the same as the homophobic, btw- I've not said you're homophobic and I haven't drawn any parallels between your position and that of the section 28 lot; I'm just pointing out the similarities in how you're viewed by the young.

Anyone not following the script, must be derailing. Usual, usual. Blame the awful deleted apparently sarcastic comment for getting it off track. Are we all just supposed to ignore it and let awful comments stand? Thought you wanted them pulling up and pointing out?

So are you going to show us the transphobic posts or not?

If you think someone is being transphobic it is far better to show them how what they're saying is transphobic so they can learn from it.

Plants - done that one, given up trying. They'll swear blind they've never said anything transphobic, usually after literally saying something extremely transphobic.

I have also never claimed there is no transphobia. Of course there is. However any transphobia is immediately called up on, reported and deleted.

There was a very questionable trans thread the other day that I felt went a bit too far and MNHQ agreed and the thread was zapped.

Wikipedia's list of transgender murder victims seems to show 4 in the UK since the 1980's with one of those being murdered by a person who was also transgender.

As of 2016 there were 70 transgender inmates (Govt figures) and one of them (Ian Huntley) had murdered two people.

If there are just 2 more convicted transgender murderers, then we have evidence that there are more Trans murderers than Trans murder victims.

And that seems likely to me.

If someone says something extremely transphobic it really should be reported so it can be deleted

If transphobic posts are left standing then they shoukd be pointed out to other posters so they can be deleted

Ive asked on a few threads for transphobic posts ive missed and ive been happy to report them when they have been pointed out to me

Ive also reported a number of very transphobic posts made by people who say they are extremely pro trans...they are either liars or very very stupid

I remember the threads about the Canadian shooter being trans, the one about stopping being an organ donor in case one of your organs went to someone trans, thread after thread about Lily Madigan and speculating as to her mental health issues, a picture of a mutilated arm captioned "phalloplasty" - and believe me, this was not a phalloplasty arm (but they can look gruesome, this was exposed bones - and MNHQ let that one stand!

Daily there are posts conflating trans people with murderers and sex offenders. Posts calling them (all) narcissists, deluded, brainwashed or cult-like. Yesterday someone told me that schoolboys would be identifying as girls in order to get girls alone in the changing rooms - these are children! But, you know, trans children are devious, predators.

Put all of that together and what have you got?
