To think the tide is turning with transgenderism

There have been a flood of articles in mainstream newspapers criticising transgenderism and putting forward the feminist perspective. It is not long ago that no mainstream newspaper would carry these articles. The tide seems to be turning.

I've answered questions. Including the so what is a woman, still waiting, one. "Only to be laughing so hard right now as it's meaningless" answers come up again.
Proving over and over Groundhog Day theres. No.Point. Answering.Time and time again.

Datun · 12/10/2018 01:13

Try answering questions, you get told you're being laughed at, it' meaningless, we've even had "that's what it's like out in the public domain" to someone saying that they're fed up of trans throwing their toys out of the pram, demanding rights etc.

All of which has been achingly addressed, in incremental stages.

So what are the top three things that you feel mentally define a woman?

VerbeenaBeeks · 12/10/2018 01:14

As I said, if we don't agree that transwomen should be seen as women, it's not the right answer.
I'm not being on any side where some extreme posters say they have a problem with all transwomen.

Datun · 12/10/2018 01:15

You didn't answer it you said it was a physical and mental thing. That's so vague as to be meaningless. What does 'thing' mean ?

You just need to clarify.

VerbeenaBeeks · 12/10/2018 01:16

So what are the top three things that you feel mentally define a woman?

Again. No. Fucking. POINT. I've said what it means to me, you lolled and said meaningless and wheee it starts up again. Just with a slightly rephrases question. Top three now? That's a new one. Same question, different phrasing.

Datun · 12/10/2018 01:17

It's been noted on here before that when a transwoman actually speaks in favour of an alternative space, it renders them completely invisible to non trans posters who disagree with them.

VerbeenaBeeks · 12/10/2018 01:17

Round and round and round and round.

Datun · 12/10/2018 01:18

You said you had a mental feeling that you were a woman. I have already said that it's necessary to describe what that mental feeling is, in order to have a definition. It's not a new question. It's the second or third time I've mentioned it?

PatriciaBateman · 12/10/2018 01:19

Datun I have also noticed that.

It's also noticeable that trans-women who want trans-women to be acknowledged as trans-women (not conflated with women), also get roundly ignored.

I saw. It's one poster though. So because one poster says they're fine with alternative spaces, that means everyone else should automatically think and be that way too?

PatriciaBateman · 12/10/2018 01:21

I should think most trans-women would want an alternative to sharing male spaces.

VerbeenaBeeks · 12/10/2018 01:21

It's not a new question. It's the second or third time I've mentioned

New way of posing the exact same question. Are you misreading or being obtuse on purpose?

Ereshkigal · 12/10/2018 01:23

Patricia is a trans woman Verbeena. You should respect her view.

Datun · 12/10/2018 01:24

verbeena since you claim to be speaking on behalf of transwomen, the least you could do is address the comments from a transwoman.

VerbeenaBeeks · 12/10/2018 01:25

So she speaks for all? How come she gets a pass but you say others don't? Presumably because she fits your narrative as how they "should" think?

Ereshkigal · 12/10/2018 01:25

PMSL

Datun · 12/10/2018 01:26

Um you said Top three now? That's a new one.

I pointed out that no it wasn't a new one. I've said exactly the same thing, literally the same thing, two or three times.

PatriciaBateman · 12/10/2018 01:27

When allies turn...

Ereshkigal · 12/10/2018 01:27

Patricia what have you started?

VerbeenaBeeks · 12/10/2018 01:27

PMSL

Mature. Says it all.

Datun · 12/10/2018 01:27

Presumably because she fits your narrative as how they "should" think?

Oh my God. 'They'? 'Should'?

You are actually refusing to engage with a representative of the cohort you claim to speak for.

😂

Twisty, twisty, very twisty.

PatriciaBateman · 12/10/2018 01:28

Ereshkigal

I am what I am. Grin

VerbeenaBeeks · 12/10/2018 01:29

Oh my God. 'They'? 'Should'? You are actually refusing to engage with a representative of the cohort you claim to speak for.

Confused

I don't speak for anyone.I speak for me.
