There have been a flood of articles in mainstream newspapers criticising transgenderism and putting forward the feminist perspective. It is not long ago that no mainstream newspaper would carry these articles. The tide seems to be turning.

Danielle Muscato is such a decent person that they took up space in a female refuge without any thought or consideration to how the women there felt about having a male bodied person there with them.

Verbeena I had a similar experience. I looked up Danielle Muscato whose picture is often used as a "so do you think THIS is a woman?" trump card. Turns out from glancing over her social media she's a pretty decent person, active and outspoken on common feminist issues with a really pro-woman stance. You'd have thought she was a raging pervert

Don't know much about Danielle, but your experience of what you read and saw not correlating of what's on here doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

Muscato is clearly a man though. They have made attempt to transition in any way. There's no reason why they couldn't go to a male shelter.

Don't forgot that Muscato is also an outspoken atheist (in fact I think they may have been employed as a spokesperson for some atheist organisation at one point) and that this shelter for women and children was run by the Catholic Church. Families in need would have been turned away to accommodate this person.

It reminds me of the scientologists, they don't just scam people, they take the piss while they're doing it by making up outrageous bullshit.

Questions:

Do people have the right to set their own personal boundaries?
Do people have the right to decide their own sexuality?
Do people have the right to choose their own sexual partners?
Do people have the right to feel safe in public spaces?
Do people have the right to question government processes and decision making?
Do people have the right to debate and comment on propose changes to the law?

These people are also women. I'm sure some people think that being a rapist should constitute not being able to identify as a woman.
