I don’t feel very appreciated by my teenagers. They appreciate a Kanye West song more than me

I think I should appreciate my own glorious self and we all should more often, even the little things we got done today?

Today I worked all day then came home did 2 laundry loads and just started putting a bed together by myself. I am determined it will be done by 9pm but probably not if I am on MN

I had a good day at work, walked the dog, put a wash on which I’m going to hang out very carefully so it doesn’t need ironing and I’m about to eat home made lentil soup. I’m home alone but I’ve had messages from all my family and feel proud we’re all connected.

I didn't kill anyone.

Finishing work on time

my stress level stayed low and I got ten whole minutes to eat my lunch. And now I’m snuggled on the sofa with my little boy, watching cartoons and drinking wine (me only!)

I managed to get a class of Y6 children to have a respectful debate! It was fab and I'm so proud!

95% in my pharmacology vet nurse exam

I haven’t succumbed to wine despite my two toddlers doing everything in their power to drive me to it today!

Off work with stress, usually I find cooking relaxing but not at the moment. Nevertheless I baked a new cake today and it was lovely. Looking forward to having some more tomorrow.

And to answer your question, I have had good news at work regarding a project AND I answered all my emails instead of inwardly groaning and then ignoring them for a few days.

I handled breakfast club drop off, work, afternoon club pickup and bedtime. Without raising my voice once! 😇

There were donuts and I didn't eat any.

I had a very pleasant day out in the sunshine with a friend, despite the PND/raging sleep deprivation. Made me realise I can experience pleasure

I had a good day today in work. All my spreadsheets balanced and I can see the small business where I do the accounts begin to grow after a couple of really lean years.

Made a breakthrough with potty training - every wee on target!

I had six meetings today at work and I didn’t kill anyone. Yet.

Weeded the front and back garden (needed a lot of work), trimmed all the hedges, took up a carpet, took all of the above to the tip, made breakfast, lunch and a proper from scratch dinner, drove two hours round trip to sort out some issues with our log burner installation, dealt with work emails and I'm seven and a half months pregnant. Felt awesome earlier now I just ache...

Today I am really proud of not swearing at my children. FFS. WTAF? Why would they be such utter twats??? They've proper tag teamed me today and as such are almost all in bed now and I have a glass of well deserved wine.

I cleaned the grill pan

I did peopling on a big scale. I’m a massive introvert and usually work on my own in a quiet little office. Today I did 9-5 (ok, 4.20 but I tried!!) with 50 others, talking business, doing ‘ice-breakers’, and ‘facilitated networking’ the horror! But I did it and have come away with lots of useful info and some new contacts.
