To not get Bella Hadid?

I was vaguely aware of her the last couple of years, but thought she was a glamorous, extremely well-preserved older lady, maybe in her 40s.
I've just seen that she is 21! Nothing wrong with being 40 (I am myself) but I wouldn't have wanted to look it when I was barely out of my teens. My point being that she has had plastic surgery to look that way.
Am I the only one who finds it a bit weird?

Bella has us a fuck tonne of surgery done. Just like her peer Kylie Jenner. When faced with a natural beauty for a sister the next logical step is spend it up alter what you were born with.

More power to her, whatever makes you happy!

I think it's her make up and stying that makes her look older. She has a unique style and is 5ft9. In these pics she looks about her age. I don't have a strong opinion on her tbh. Would love to have skin like her.

It will be interesting to see how the current crop of models actually look in their 40s/50s. Kate, Claudia, Naomi & co all look great still, Im sure they have had subtle anti aging tweaks but they still look like themselves.

What a delightful thread. Yes she's had plastic surgery. Lament the world we live in that young women like her and Kendal Jenner feel the need to completely change their appearance to meet a daft of glamour. It's ridiculous to say this girl looks 40 something though

I don’t think she looks anywhere near 40. I think the make up is what makes her look more ‘ ‘mature’.

I think she's striking, an attractive woman and yes looks older. Probably will look the same age now for the next twenty years though.

It's a bit shit that women so young are having surgery to chase a definition of perfect. I'm early thirties, and don't remember women of 20 having surgery being a normal thing when I was a teenager - it is new, isn't it?

Or is it just that Instagram wasn't around when I was a teenager so celebs were able to keep their personal lives more private and nobody knew?

Hopefully they are happy and satisfied with the results as individuals though.

I had a couple of friends who had nose jobs when we were at school in the 80s but they were American.

I worked as a model in the 90s you didn’t really see that much surgery. Obvious surgery was frowned on.

It was different in the US, but if you look at the 90s supermodels they’re quite natural looking.

I watched them on The Real Housewives. I remember an episode where they were at a party a Gigi wanted some of the cake, but her mother kept saying no. Eventually they “shared” a crumb of cake you’d hardly have felt if it was flicked in your eye. I thought how depressing to never be allowed anything “bad”.

Maybe 40 something is pushing it, and to clarify, I meant a 40something who has had work done and looks very smooth and polished as a result (unlike me, a "natural" 40 whose only smooth area is the generous curve of my belly)

But I’ve also thought the work she has had done is impressive - she looks pretty good still

A fine example of making a sows purse out of a pigs ear.
She looks like her dad, a rather slimy oily looking chap.
Lots of surgery to try and reduce that.

I definitely thought Bella was the eldest daughter. They're both beautiful but Gigi is something else!

To be clear I think she looks good, just not youthful, which is what I always considered to be "aspirational". It's certainly what I aspire to! So it's weird to see young women wanting to look older.
I guess I can't really make that assertion because no one really knows exactly what she's had done and if it's surgery that made her look older or something else.
Just looked at Gigi and she also has a sort of "older" looking low cheekbone thing happening so maybe it's just a genetic thing

Blimey. When I last saw RHOBH a few series ago she was about to launch her modelling career and looked quite normal. That granny's corset photo is a horror.
