I was vaguely aware of her the last couple of years, but thought she was a glamorous, extremely well-preserved older lady, maybe in her 40s.
I've just seen that she is 21! Nothing wrong with being 40 (I am myself) but I wouldn't have wanted to look it when I was barely out of my teens. My point being that she has had plastic surgery to look that way.
Am I the only one who finds it a bit weird?

I, for one, really dont care what you think Bluntness. You're the poster who just pops in on threads says their tuppence and leaves as if you are God and what you say goes. No. Its your opinion, dont force it on other people and shoot us down as being wrong just because you dont agree. Jeez

TatianaLarina · 03/10/2018 21:47

AIBU to think that, for better or worse, humans will simply never ever stop judging each other by their looks?

Well Bluntness certainly won’t that’s for sure. 🤣

greendale17 · 03/10/2018 21:48

@Bluntness100 you are a hypocrite

Bore off

batshite1 · 03/10/2018 21:48

She just has that preserved look when you can’t tell if someone is 20 or 40 due to fillers etc. She looks too sculpted for my taste but I love Gigi’s look.

BelindaBellender · 03/10/2018 21:49

These women are famous for their looks so it’s a given people will discuss them. And as much as Rita Ora and Dua Lipa are bloody gorgeous there are others who are spoiling their looks with plastic surgery, just look at Katie Price.

Whisky2014 · 03/10/2018 21:49

Yes, angelo, how dare we talk about a woman who, for a living, flaunts her very look upon us all. If that doesn't warrant a comment or 2, i dont know what does!

Bluntness100 · 03/10/2018 21:49

Angelo, she's a model, I don't think that means women should be able to start threads to slag her off, women shouldn't judge other women's looks like this. Talk about her modelling ability, how she makes a career, but to simply slag off her looks isn't ok.

I get some think it's ok, I don't. As said, I won't shy away from that.

ShirleyPhallus · 03/10/2018 21:50

Bella looks a lot like Jennifer Lawrence in some of her pics

thenightsky · 03/10/2018 21:51

PurpleRobe I didn't know the brother was a model too. That does surprise me. Thought he'd walk straight into a top job at daddy's empire.

Whisky2014 · 03/10/2018 21:51

No one said shes ugly, horrible. What is actually slagging her off? If its a mean comment to say she looks like a 40 year old then thats offensive to 40 year olds.

TatianaLarina · 03/10/2018 21:52

I don’t think OP is ‘slagging her off’.

She just said she judged her age wrong and she’s had a lot of surgery, which is true.

She hasn’t said she’s not beautiful or doesn’t have a great figure or isn’t a nice person or doesn’t have a great life.

She just said, y’know she looks a bit odd. Which is true.

Whisky2014 · 03/10/2018 21:52

What does/did the dad do?

Bluntness100 · 03/10/2018 21:52

No, I don't think it will ever stop, but I do think as women we should accept one another and not criticise other women for how they chose to present.

Fat, thin, hairy, hairless, made up, natural, we should accept each other as women and not judge,

ShirleyPhallus · 03/10/2018 21:53

women shouldn't judge other women's looks like this. Talk about her modelling ability, how she makes a career

Ummm. How can you talk about “modelling ability” without mentioning looks? Modelling is LITERALLY all about looks....

Whisky2014 · 03/10/2018 21:53

And you should accept our opinions. Anyhoo stop derailing the thread.

LemonLimerance · 03/10/2018 21:54

"Angelo, she's a model, I don't think that means women should be able to start threads to slag her off"

The thing is Bluntness, I started the thread not as an act of aggression to anyone, just musing really.

Whereas your replies do sound quite aggressive towards me.

I've been pretty even-tempered and measured in my responses to you, seen things from your point of view, even agreed with you. But you seem unmoved; your tone has remained unpleasant. I am one of your fellow women too, ok?

If she doesn’t like people slagging off her looks then she should opt for a career which isn’t built around her looks. You gotta take the rough with the smooth! Do you honestly think she cares what a bunch of women on Mumsnet think? She’s fucking rolling in money that she barely had to do anything to earn!

There’s plenty of people who slag off Ed Sheeran’s music and say he’s crap, you think he gives a damn? Nope, homeboy is a fucking millionaire.

batshite1 · 03/10/2018 21:55

She used to look like her brother & her dad. I sometimes work with teen girls & actually think it’s quite important to highlight surgeries, photoshopping etc.

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 03/10/2018 21:56

Bellas sculpted her face to what fits in with the model look. But she was already built with the figure naturally.

I think Gigi is beautiful, very girl next door, all American kind of look.

I watched their dad and his new girlfriend (not sure if they are still together) She is stunning too. And their house was out of this world massive.

PinguDance · 03/10/2018 21:57

I get her being a good model - same with Gigi and Kendal Jenner, they can pose for sure. Kendall is actually very adaptable too so I get why she has been able to have such a successful career, though obviously yes it’s mainly the family...

TatianaLarina · 03/10/2018 21:57

Well start practicing what you preach and stop boring us with (drunk?) sermonising.

*On The Second Wives Club (trashy tv Blush)

batshite1 · 03/10/2018 21:58

In an ideal world people wouldn’t slag of how other people look however if you buy a new face your perpetuating the “looks matter” mantra.

Whisky2014 · 03/10/2018 21:58

I just read Yolanda and david Foster divorced. I remember when i think it was gigi turned 18 there was a scene where she thanked david for being a great stepfather...thats a shame it ended, i always thought they had a nice marriage. I also watched an episode where one of the girls was moving to NY i think and yolanda had bought a flat for gigi or bella to move into. Whilst gigi or bella went off to work, yolanda stayed at the flat and made it all homely. Making sure the rug in the bedroom was placed partially under the bed..looked really stylish and i remember thinking i wish my mum did that for me Grin

TatianaLarina · 03/10/2018 21:59

I’ve seen his house on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Wine
