To not get Bella Hadid?

I was vaguely aware of her the last couple of years, but thought she was a glamorous, extremely well-preserved older lady, maybe in her 40s.
I've just seen that she is 21! Nothing wrong with being 40 (I am myself) but I wouldn't have wanted to look it when I was barely out of my teens. My point being that she has had plastic surgery to look that way.
Am I the only one who finds it a bit weird?

I've seen them before on Real Housewives of Beverley Hills and always felt a bit sorry for Bella as it was clear she was the plain one next to her sister Gigi.

Hasn't Bella been very ill with Lyme disease though? That could have made her look more haggard I guess.

She doesn't look 21 at all more like 31. I think it's a shame that she thought she had to get surgery to look good, she was pretty before.

I think she looks like an automaton. Or possibly a blow up doll. A face that personally I find find deeply unsexy, as it jars against what I consider to be attractive. Give me a face full of character and experience any day.

Many top models are often quite neutral or plain looking, but have the right height and figure. Clothes look a certain way on them and their face and hair are adaptable. Bella is a sought after model.

Still not as bad as Kylie Jenner. She really looks like a 40 year old who’s had too much surgery to look twenty years younger. I almost feel sorry for her, growing up in a family where your only value is your looks can’t be easy.

You're right of course thisneverendingsummer I didn't really mean to start a slagging thread, I just don't understand why this person is where she is. But it is rather unkind of me. And yes to a PP I believe she has Lyme disease. She's probably a lovely person too

Beamur, that maybe the case, but having a face of character and uniqueness didn’t harm Kate Moss, Nadia Auermann, Karen Elson or the inimitable Kristen Mcmenamy did it? 🤔

I think it is a combination of excess make up and facial structure. I am of a similar genetic heritage and have a very similar facial features/colouring. In the wrong light/from certain angles/wrong make up I look fucking old. Not even well preserved old but just is she flushing because she us menopausal old. But at other times I look like a teenager. You will notice the same with her pictures on the Internet. When she is wearing less make up and light foundation she looks really young. But all the bronzer, contouring etc age her.

Definitely don't think she looks haggard. She's the personification of the word "smooth"
I agree that many models have neutral faces, but I don't find Bella neutral - she always looks the same and isn't really transformative.
I was actually googling her and Carla Bruni and this article came up (link in next comment). Look at the "avant garde" section, both she and Carla look utterly ridiculous. They can't really pull off a look that isn't "cheekboney sleek brunette".

I read an interview about the family a couple of years ago and a number of modelling agents said they’re absolutely brilliant models- and by that they meant camera work, posing, walking the catwalk, apparently being professional and easy to work with, to get great pictures.

They all said this is what the mum had been training them in from a very young age and she’s been hugely successful in it. They’ll never be the most unique or original but they’re very good at what they do.

Its her mothwr yolanda who has lyme disease. I like yolanda from some snippets i saw of real housewives. She seemed normal.

Never considered how old she look so but I have noticed she’d had a very bad nose job.

Generally famous models don’t have such obviously surgeried faces.

She’s definitely had a nose & boob job and something done to sculpt her chin/jawline.

Apparently she was really into horse riding and was quite a high level competitor when her sister got into modelling and she decided she wanted to be a model as well. Thousands of dollars worth of surgery later... hey presto!

You can see why all the other girls who had to fight their way to the top hate the Hadids, Jenners et al.
