To think adults singing this at conference, sound childish and idiotic?

I don’t like it. It makes me feel a bit embarrassed about supporting Labour. It’s like idolising a rock star rather than listening to a leader and makes the whole conference look like an SU piss up. Going to be hard enough to be taken seriously as a party under current circumstances as it is.

ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 19:21

Reported, snog. The tories need you in their next party political broadcast. You’d be a fantastic asset to them.

10degreestostarboard · 26/09/2018 19:21

Snog

You are worshipping a false prophet

All my voting DC voted Labour at the last election because they genuinely believed that Labour were going to abolish tuition fees. ( I recognise that this speaks volumes about their critical thinking skills)

SerenDippyEggs · 26/09/2018 19:22

The song is a joke and most of the people that sing it are in fact laughing at themselvesGrin

He's promised this and he's said that, but Theresa May's a bloody Saint isn't she! All she's done that's a bit naughty is run through those fields of wheat. Oh what larks!

10degreestostarboard · 26/09/2018 19:23

3 pages into a corbyn thread and we have some mild anti Jewish sentiment already

But apparently it’s the media’s fault blah blah...

ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 19:24

I’ve reported the disgusting anti semitism.
This is labour, everyone - ain’t they pretty?

Itchytights · 26/09/2018 19:24

Snog

I think it’s really you isn’t it Jeremy?

GrinGrinGrin

10degreestostarboard · 26/09/2018 19:25

Serendippy

But Theresa may won’t have us all working in communes with the threat of the gulag hanging over traitors of the people will she?

Snog · 26/09/2018 19:26

Some Jewish people are part of the establishment, clearly not all, where did I say that?

And where did I say that Jewish people control everything?**

ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 19:27

And now with the frantic back pedalling - don’t you people get bored, can’t you vary the repertoire a bit?
You’d need wit to do that, to be fair.

SerenDippyEggs · 26/09/2018 19:28

@10degreestostarboard with the state the UK political scene has been in the last few years I wouldn't rule anything out!

Just to clarify, I'm not a huge JC fan and definitely disagree with all the antisemitism comments. I was referring more to people slagging off his "I pledge this and that" when all political parties say whatever they think will get them popular. We are living in a world of madness

MaxTeyon · 26/09/2018 19:29

childish and idiotic

The perfect description of the Labour Party and all its supporters.

10degreestostarboard · 26/09/2018 19:30

The oh Jeremy crowd are all the same...

Tories = bad
New labour = traitors of the people

You know it’s bad when excellent mps like frank field and skinner think the current labour lot are bonkers

Snog · 26/09/2018 19:31

@ThefusilliJerry rude and bullying comments and the politics of hysteria

10degreestostarboard · 26/09/2018 19:32

Serendippy

His stance on the eu has been very interesting - an opponent of the eu for decades yet willing to be ‘flexible’ when there is a whiff of power

Yes even he pales against figures like John McDonnell - that man is a dangerous zealot

10degreestostarboard · 26/09/2018 19:34

Snog

For the average earning, mortgage paying family labour only offer higher taxes. That is not an election winning approach

ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 19:35

Think snog must be one of those zionists who doesn’t get English irony who the great leader warned us about . Nothing else could explain that dumbfounding last post.

ForalltheSaints · 26/09/2018 19:46

Looks stupid, but not the first or last time a political party conference will be.

Ucantpo1ishaturd · 26/09/2018 20:11

Jeremy Corbyn scares the shit out of me, Hitler comes to mind.

specialsubject · 26/09/2018 20:15

the old non -joke comes to.mind, in this case it is 'he isnt a jew hater, but he helps out when they are busy'.

not enough Jews in the uk to affect elections so there is no need to attempt denial.

OfaFrenchmind2 · 26/09/2018 20:32

An ardent admirer of the dictator of Venezuela... If you are afraid about Brexit and food shortage, you should be terrified of the shit this kind of Labour is going to do to the UK... And I am not even mentioning the antisemitism and misogyny.

Jeanclaudejackety · 26/09/2018 20:37

Load of spoilt t trendy champagne socialists, cringe worthy hero worshipping, ruined the Labour party
