To think adults singing this at conference, sound childish and idiotic?

Maybe in biological age

I don't think the ever increasing gap between rich and poor is a good thing, if that makes me under 50 on a mental or emotional level in your eyes so be it.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 26/09/2018 18:56

I heard on the radio that labour are promising free 30hrs childcare for all children. How the hell can we afford that?

Dontsweatthelittlestuff · 26/09/2018 18:56

But JC is the rich and sitting on a nice little pension pot of around £1.5 million to boot

SweetSummerchild · 26/09/2018 18:59

What terrifies me is the idea that people actually believe his lunatic policies are going to solve anything.

10degreestostarboard · 26/09/2018 18:59

The morally bankrupt Labour Party....

For the naive, not the Jew...

wurzelburga · 26/09/2018 19:04

The red flag is awesome.

Communists have all the best anthems - Soviet National Anthem, Chinese National Anthem etc......

Snog · 26/09/2018 19:05

We pay for childcare by making the super rich and huge companies like amazon and Starbucks pay fair taxation.

abacucat · 26/09/2018 19:06

Yes the Red Flag is a great rousing song.
Oh Jeremy Corbyn is childish and cult like.

OP posts:
ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 19:07

I’m all for fairer taxation but not at the price of electing someone who allies with terrorists and Jew haters.

Snog · 26/09/2018 19:07

Better to focus on important issues surely than slagging off a chant?

abacucat · 26/09/2018 19:08

Why snog? This is mumsnet, not conference.

OP posts:
Snog · 26/09/2018 19:11

The media distort the actions of JC to disempowered and discredit him - because it is in their interest to do so. Don't believe the terrorist/anti Semitic hype.

Snog · 26/09/2018 19:12

@abacucat Grin

ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 19:13

It is not hype, examples too numerous to mention.
Ask the Jewish community how safe they feel they’d be under a Corbyn government. But then according to you people, they are the only ethnic minority whose perspective on their own persecution can be discounted.
And if that’s not racist I don’t know what is

Snog · 26/09/2018 19:15

Does anyone feel safe under Teresa May's government though?

ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 19:16

Ffs you’re unbelievable.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 26/09/2018 19:16

I haven't felt safe since the first gulf war.

I don't mind a proper song.
This is Idiocracy.

10degreestostarboard · 26/09/2018 19:17

The red flag is just another example of ideological baggage tying the Labour Party to a bygone era.

Communism (of which socialism is the first step) should be seen as no different to nazi rule. Both are authoritarian and dangerous

AsAProfessionalFekko · 26/09/2018 19:17

I suspect this is more modern politics and social media. The worlds gone to pot.

10degreestostarboard · 26/09/2018 19:18

It’s all about the Palestinians for some reason. That and envy of others alongside a healthy dose of wanting equality at all costs (read: everyone equally poor).

ThefusilliJerry · 26/09/2018 19:19

I don’t use this word lightly but some of the responses here are truly disgusting. Would you dismiss concerns raised by any other ethnic community so flippantly? Of course not. But Jews are different aren’t they. Lots of them are rich, eh?
Revolting and confirms me in my view that the current Labour Party is a morally and intellectually bankrupt endeavour.
