Don't get me wrong she seems like a lovely lady and does have some useful tips but AIBU to think she cleans alot and often. As a single mum I don't hardly have anytime during the day to do this amount of cleaning! Now it's making me feel bad that I don't clean this much 😂

Chineseandcake · 15/09/2018 17:11

Well you might eat pot noodles ... make sure you don't burn your mouth or chin on them ... that shit stings

OftenHangry · 15/09/2018 17:12

Though I loled at the "Greggs the bakers" insult😂 Sorry

ElspethFlashman · 15/09/2018 17:16

Mug shot woman here. Brew

~contraversial~

JessicaPeach · 15/09/2018 17:16

Great post Guava. I prefer to see affiliate links declared and it does put me off when they aren’t. Don’t mind them being used at all but I want to know when I’m clicking on one.

TheWalkingTalkingRed · 15/09/2018 17:22

Wow.

You're not doing Mrs Hinch or her 'army' any fsvours with that post Chineseandcake

Some people like her and her Instagram account, some dont. It's THAT simple. We don't all have to like her just because you do that's ridiculous. No one has really said anything that bad, a bit of eye rolling over he over use of grey etc and a very valid point of how dangerous mixing products is....as it can potentially kill. Yes. Really.

Personally? I think she seems like a nice girl and very personable But will not be following due to the batshit fan girl mentality of some of her army. I wpuld honestly be terrified of being pounced on if I dare step out of line! And that's not what I want from Instagram thanks

The vile posts thats come from the army in her defence has been far far worse than anything written by Mumsnetters mho.

This thread is no good if you are hungry.

Littlechocola · 15/09/2018 17:28

Those rooms are depressing! Cold and uninviting!

OftenHangry · 15/09/2018 17:37

@Littlechocola I thought so too, but look at her early picturesShock The floor is timber colour, cupboards don't seem grey too, nor do the walls. More like magnolia. It actually looks warm and cosy. Not with that grey filter thoough

Littlechocola · 15/09/2018 17:39

@OftenHangry I’ll have a look. Maybe my house is messy because it’s too colourful? Grin (my new excuse!).

OftenHangry · 15/09/2018 17:40

@Littlechocola mine tooGrin

Aspenfrost · 15/09/2018 20:14

Grey is over. Thank the lord. The people with imagination didn’t buy into it anyway. A dreadful and depressing colour for any interior.

PaddysMarket · 15/09/2018 21:01

Yeah if you look at her dogs IG Blush his account makes the house look warmer, you can tell when she has put a filter over the photos because the dog then goes a shade greyer.

WhatsGoingOnEh · 15/09/2018 21:16

What's her dog's IG account? I'd love to see that #noshame #obsessed #iloveeverythingshedoes

Purplemond · 16/09/2018 10:22

WhatsGoingOnEh · 16/09/2018 10:59

Thanks! Following 🙈

Cleanerrates · 16/09/2018 17:39

The #ads have started! Will just be the first of many. She seems nice and sweet but I can’t stand insta accounts where they just turn into constant ads flogging anything. Shame really, guess it was inevitable but I won’t be following anymore.

GuavaPalava · 16/09/2018 18:34

She was very clear with highlighting it was an AD so that's all good and I have no issue at all

My issue now is the horrors in that FB group. If I was Mrs H I'd be totally disassociating myself and actually asking them to close the FB group so she could have one she controls. There's actually a thread on there at the moment where someone refers to someone else as a 'spack on crack!'

They're barely literate and the arguing etc is just Shock

ElspethFlashman · 16/09/2018 18:40

She's still not declaring affiliate links - she had a big run on them on Stories last night and I paused and squinted but couldn't see any #af - but hopefully now she's started #ad, that will follow.

I have zero objections to #ads whatsoever if they are declared.

oldgimmer78 · 16/09/2018 19:23

I've started following smellsniceinhere which is a strangely addictive account as her stories are just her doing her cleaning routine in silence. She is scrubbing and polishing sinks/toilets that are already gleaming and using about 50 products on each thing but it is inspiring me!

juneybean · 16/09/2018 19:27

Hopefully this has already been highlighted, I visited her profile when I first saw this thread last week and was very dismayed by her post about her dad and husband.

assumptionsmakeanarseofuandme · 16/09/2018 19:47

this poor woman can’t do anything right... she doesn’t declare ads... she gets slated... she does declare ads, she’s unfollowed. why do people have such an issue with people receiving products for promotion purposes if, and only if they genuinely liked them. you can’t honestly tell me if people offered you decent shit for free that you would use, that you would not snap it up!

JessicaPeach · 16/09/2018 19:52

I’ve no issue at all with people being sent stuff for free, but I won’t be sent it for free so if I want to buy it using my own money I want to be able to make a value judgement on whether it’s worth it. Declaring ads, affiliate links and gifts is how followers are able to make those informed decisions knowing that the person using the product hasn’t had to make that judgement themselves.

assumptionsmakeanarseofuandme · 16/09/2018 19:57

but what if the person promoting these items would only do so under the premise that if they had to, they would part with their hard earned cash to make the purchase? i have been sent copious amounts of free things for my account but i have only ever even discussed things i genuinely love and would repurchase. everything else i either return or if the company don’t want it back, i just don’t review it on my account.

WhatsthematteryouHEY · 16/09/2018 20:00

Disclosing ads isn't optional, it is a requirement. When you are running business you shouldn't take it personally if some people don't like your business model. This is always the issue when influencers go from being a bit like your mate and sharing their fun times with you, to selling stuff to you. Some people don't like it. No use crying into your diluted Zoflora about losing the odd follower, that's how this thing always works.
