Don't get me wrong she seems like a lovely lady and does have some useful tips but AIBU to think she cleans alot and often. As a single mum I don't hardly have anytime during the day to do this amount of cleaning! Now it's making me feel bad that I don't clean this much 😂

It's my job. It needs to be declared, trust me on this. It's considered best practice for starters and people need to know if they're making a purchase and you are benefitting from that purchase. So the other cleaning sales person you follow is not following the very clear ASA rules.

The States have massively cracked down on it and the UK has started to as well.

GuavaPalava · 15/09/2018 15:52

Unless of course she's not using an affiliate link? Then if course you don't need to say anything as you're. It personally benefitting

They blatantly are affiliate links, as a few of her people have been on here and said they are, and she posts them one after the other, but they are not labelled so which is wrong and very dishonest in a lot of people's opinion.

It doesn't matter as people have said that she makes pence from it, it matters that she isn't honest or open about it.

I have no issues with her account and who she is and what she's doing. I support other women completely, and I hope she goes from strength to strength

But not declaring is a no no, and it really is very simple to do. People don't mind at all but they do mind if it feels shady

You don’t know her @sooverthetop. You clearly just have issues.

WhatsthematteryouHEY · 15/09/2018 16:29

Excellent post Guava, except the bit about ‘jealous people wanting what you have’ which I’m sure is pretty far off the mark but was a dead giveaway that you are in the business, as you helpfully clarified.

I am in the business yes but not cleaning or instagram. It's just the one thing that leaps out at me - the need for best practice and not being shady when it comes to declaring

I think it's really off to be slating her personally @Sooverthetop

assumptionsmakeanarseofuandme · 15/09/2018 16:35

@sooverthetop You knew her at SCHOOL, apparently. She is 28 for Christ sake so you clearly haven’t known her for a while. So no, you don’t know her. You’re just coming across as jealous and sad.

GuavaPalava · 15/09/2018 16:35

@WhatsthematteryouHEY to clarify , I can see she has lots of people out there who are jealous of her and what she's achieved so far.. and this is where she may come unstuck if she's not adhering to best practices - they'll be the first to cause trouble if they see a loophole

ElspethFlashman · 15/09/2018 16:39

Ugh, sooverthetop your jealousy is showing..... God forbid a girl you went to school with is doing well. Better put her back in her box, eh?

WhatsthematteryouHEY · 15/09/2018 16:40

Ah I see, Guava, that makes more sense. I read it that you were suggesting all people who made ASA complaints were jealous of instagrammers, which I am pretty confident would not be the case. But I agree, it would be one way for someone who was envious of her success to cause trouble for her - so why take the risk?

GuavaPalava · 15/09/2018 16:43

Yes that's what I mean, don't give people the opportunity to report you for things you're not doing when it's super simple to do them. If that makes sense Smile

WhatsthematteryouHEY · 15/09/2018 16:51

Yep, gotcha - and I agree.

MrsFoxPlus4 · 15/09/2018 16:53

Can I just say Mrs Hinch is also a hairdresser. So she doesn’t just sit at home cleaning 24/7. And like she said it’s just cleaning it’s not that serious 😂
