I have finally found my people! Many years I have wondered why my list of threads I'm on is full only with threads that I have ended

"Ivanka" is the Russian equivalent of "Johnnie". I took it from a heartbreaking Turgenev short story that I was reading at the time, because I couldn't pass up any name that sounded so much like "I, Wanker". (This tells you what sort of mind I have!)

I did toy with having a female protagonist for Vlad, but on reflection I liked a male one better (and it gave Vanka the opportunity to have sexy funtimes in Salford with a Lady MNer with a similar MN username - though he had a bit of a job getting her to put out her woodbine long enough for a , if I recall correctly). Vanka is Vlad's Best Friend from school. The one whose marbles he stole and who he gave Chinese Burns to in the back of the class. They are inseparable.

The ex-Mrs Vlad didn't like Vanka much, because he would interrupt her Tupperware parties looking for beetroot.

And of course Fuzzy - there is always Irina, the pneumatic, gimlet-eyed secretary with eight-inch stilettos who is obsessed with Vlad, and takes every and any opportunity to stalk him and throw herself and her enormous bosoms into his presence. She and Vanka hate each other with a passion. Vlad doesn't even notice she exists.

I never got round to developing her as a character.

But now I'm wondering how the French door saga is progressing. There was an update some months ago, and sadly it was not going well for the OP. She had the law on her side, but CFNs had buggered off leaving her home falling apart. Poor woman. My heart ached for her - what a horrible position to be in.

Hi! If there's a major drama llama post they'd very active then it seems anything more run of the mill gets far less traffic. I think that's why many posts go onto AIBU just to get a response. I was always told to post in relationships but I didn't get many responses. However when I've had quite drama llama-esque posts I've been accused of being a troll so I feel I can't win and am quite invisible too. I do t recognise your name and I do look at the name of posters. I'll look out for your posts from now on
