TornFromTheInside · 28/07/2018 21:28

It's a dream we've all had.

Usually after 8 vodkas and gin or two

TornFromTheInside · 28/07/2018 21:29

MNHQ and GCHQ only differ by two letters.
Coincidence? - I don't think so

And GCHQ rhymes with watching you.

AhCheeses · 28/07/2018 21:45

A few years back a thread was started for all threadkillers to unite...
We ended up with thread after thread, each baby that was born received a thread name and had threadkiller aunties.
A lot of us are still friends on fb but the threadkiller threads vanished. Sad times.
This post has brought back lots of lovely memories 😊

brizzledrizzle · 28/07/2018 21:59

The philosophical question here is, of course, how many petunias before we start to acknowledge that it's a petunia patch and the onions haven't grown in years.

There are no petunias, they are all former whales.

Are you sure, that story sounds fishy?

brizzledrizzle · 28/07/2018 22:06

Cod be I suppose.

Me too! Between that and my arse getting handed to me twice on threads I started (on AIBU tbf), I don't feel very well-liked on here Sad Doesn't stop me coming back, though!

Yoksha · 28/07/2018 22:10

Oooh! I've found my people.

I can see you too.

Most of my posts are the last one on the thread. Last week I became controversial for me!! I questioned some poster's criticism of my point. She literally blanked me and went on to argue with the one below me. >

CaptainKirkssparetupee · 28/07/2018 22:12

N0ne & Yoksha welcome the thread.
You are now a-fish-al members.

CaptainKirkssparetupee · 28/07/2018 22:13

Cod be I suppose.

I'll have a pond-er

brizzledrizzle · 28/07/2018 22:19

I'll have a pond-er

I tried to but I was floundering.

TornFromTheInside · 28/07/2018 22:43

end of the (fishing) line I think

brizzledrizzle · 28/07/2018 22:44

No, there's life in the plaice yet.

OP posts:
TornFromTheInside · 28/07/2018 22:48

That's just a red herring.

RayRayBidet · 28/07/2018 22:57

Well, I thought I had killed it earlier but it seems to be still going strong.
Until now mwahahaha!

RoseMartha · 28/07/2018 22:57

Yoksha · 28/07/2018 23:32

You lot kill me. 2 bottles of Simon Weston & last episode of Hidden and I couldn't give a flying Haddock! Well, I had to get a fish reference in there somewhere.

TornFromTheInside · 28/07/2018 23:54

I notice you've not shared the drink...

that's very shellfish

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 29/07/2018 00:15

Serial thread killer here.

Brizzle I recognise your name (and I agree about the drizzle!).

Be careful what you wish for - I once had the internet turn on me for an innocent and lighthearted comment - namechanged sharpish!!

brizzledrizzle · 29/07/2018 07:03

eel be careful then.
Off out in the drizzle soon...
