Am I as invisible here as in real life?

Wouldn't worry about being a threadkiller. I suspect we all are in our own eyes. Personally, I think it's the forum interface as ive been on many forums and never known one where threads die as quickly as they do here. I suspect the majority of people work primarily with the active conversations list and threads not on it are pretty much pissing into the wind.

Can't remember why though. Um, I have a vague idea I associate you with sensible posts that are usually worth reading?

Maybe I'm completely wrong and you usually start riotous threads about "And then she said my baby looked like a minger and tipped a fruit shoot over her."

I just AS you and there are hundreds of posts where people are interacting with you. Loads and loads.

It's funny, I often kill the thread too. It is like a little taunt when you see your ''threads I'm on'' with your name still at the top. And yet, if there's a contraversial discussion going on and I feel I have offered my wisdom, I think, well are we still discussing this? :-p read my post from yesterday at 16.32 fgs,

Me too ! Once or twice I’ve been in desperate need of support and advice and my post has been largely ignored. I reply to things but don’t start threads any more 😢

I've been here for years and have started maybe 5 threads? I post on other people's threads a lot but I'm not really brave enough to start them - so you're doing better than I am!

Most of my posts are ignored and I feel a strange thrill if someone replies or comments on one, note to self, must get a life

Thank goodness I've found my people. I kill all threads and I bet I do the same here so apologies in advance op when this goes off the boil.

But I know what you're saying. My "I'm on" list consists of a lot of threads on which I am the last poster. Thread-killer on the loose.

This just about sums up my MN experience.
