To Not Make An Effort on DP and DSC holiday return

My partner of 3 years is taking his 2 children on holiday next week for 2 weeks.
The children stay with us EOW and during the holidays.
I’m not invited. It has never been discussed he just booked it.
They all arrive back on a Thursday evening and the DCs (15 & 17) will be here until the Monday.
The expectation is that I will have food shopped, made beds etc for their return.
AIBU to just leave it & let them order take away ?

Yes I hope it was beds unmade and fridge empty! Or you could leave a few things in there to rot actually? Have an awesome holiday, rather jealous of a solo trip!

Apparently his DCs asked him where I was when he picked them up & why wasn’t I going with them.
he must have told you that then? The only reason I can think of to pass that on is because he wants to say fuck you i know it’s mean and nasty of me but I don’t like you and I don’t want you on my holiday.

Confused - you said in your earlier update you were leaving on the friday morning and that they get back on the friday afternoon, but both you and your DP are leaving for your respective holidays today? Who will be where when you get back (apologies if I'm misreading).

@ACatsNoHelpWithThat - his mode of transport (deliberately being vague) left this morning but he travelled down yesterday afternoon & stayed near by because there has been a lot of delays in the last week.

He gets back am a week today & I return to the country late evening.
His departure time changed due to the recent delays.

Flight delayed but a glass of fizz is my friend 🥂
