To Not Make An Effort on DP and DSC holiday return

My partner of 3 years is taking his 2 children on holiday next week for 2 weeks.
The children stay with us EOW and during the holidays.
I’m not invited. It has never been discussed he just booked it.
They all arrive back on a Thursday evening and the DCs (15 & 17) will be here until the Monday.
The expectation is that I will have food shopped, made beds etc for their return.
AIBU to just leave it & let them order take away ?

He sounds like an arsehole, op. You’d be better off financially and emotionally without him by the sound of it.

so pleased you have booked a holiday. Enjoy and please update us with his response when he discovers you have grown a back bone.
Please pretty please go with my suggestion of stripping the beds on Friday morning and putting them in the washer. Perhaps even put it on timer delay so it's still mid wash when he gets back home.

Please don’t make up beds or fill the fridge for him.

Don't put yourself out stripping the beds or getting in milk.

He is an adult who booked his own holiday for him and his DC without even speaking to you. Perfectly capable of stripping, washing, making beds and shopping.

I do hope you are planning on leaving him and not going back into this.

And why on earth arw you with this man, he just sounds a really nasty piece of work.
You have told him you feel left out and would like to socialise with his family and his response is to go out with his sister and txt you about it but not invite you along.

That's nasty and mean... I could not be with someone like that.

Have a fab holiday and I hope it gives you confidence to leave or at least move out when you get back.

Although of course stripped beds means they need to make the beds rather than just sleep in the existing bedsheets. Would be a shame not to do a load in this lovely weather...
