Yes, I have NC'd for this. Blush

Anyone else getting irritated by constant irritation due to the heat? The sweat causes 'paper cuts' and it stings when I have a bath etc.

Roll on autumn!!!

I have never suffered this but wear cotton always, when it's hot, not skinny jeans, leggings etc & shower not using soaps down there as it kills natural bacterium. Maybe I'm lucky? My bmi isn't high either which always makes sweating worse.

Leapfrog44 · 25/07/2018 17:59

I'm genuinely totally shocked that anyone could find anything to complain about (except for the effect on the wildlife / plants etc) in this glorious weather, let alone so many of the women here.

Personally I hate winter because I'm always bloody cold, my skin looks sallow and rough, my mood is low, I need dozens of layers on- which never looks attractive - and I feel flabby.

When the summer comes I blossom. Dressing suddenly becomes really easy, just a linen dress or pair of shorts and vest. My skin is tanned and glowing, winter weight falls off and I'm no longer cold. I feel so happy in this weather!

I can't understand anything about excessive sweating or vaginal cuts.. ? I did an exercise class recently and I did sweat heavily and feel pretty light headed afterwards but I don't sweat just going about my day.

I'm curious to know if this is just an English phenomenon because for continental Europe, these temperatures are pretty normal during summer.

SleepingInYourFlowerbed · 25/07/2018 18:00

Some people sweat more than others. I am luckily a low sweater but I never think anything of people who sweat more. It's not like you can stop it

Arian1 · 25/07/2018 18:08

Try "childs farm sensitive moisturiser" from the chemist or most supermarkets and apply it to ur netherbits after you have a wee and dried thoroughly.
Its been proven to have properties that are far superior to medication from the doctor for skin conditions, like severe eczema and the like.

But before you use it, make sure the doctor has rules out your not infected with fungal or bacterial skin problems. Just because this weather can cause bugs to proliferate.
Infection can be detected by smell firstly than discharge down below and fungal is similar with a raised spotty edge to a rash.

If your in the clear, try it out.
I have used it on broken skin on the children and they healed super fast.

I hope this helps

Grin brilliant

ALongHardWinter · 25/07/2018 18:14

Regarding the posters who say that they find not wearing any knickers helps,I must admit that I have been very close to doing the same, but something that my late DM used to say stopped me from going ahead. It was along the lines of not going out wearing manky old knickers in case you were involved in an accident or taken ill,and heaven forbid,a medic of some sort saw them! I think the same applies to wearing no knickers at all! Grin

sunshinewithabitofdrizzle · 25/07/2018 18:16

Ugh I hate it. At work I sit on a faux-leather office chair and when I get up I leave a damp mark on it, looks like I've wet myself, even though I'm using pantyliners :( And I have a constant river down my back. I've been using my Mitcham roll on under my boobs which does seem to help a bit and spraying another anti persperant on my back and on my body in general but that's not working as well.

waterlego6064 · 25/07/2018 18:24

I always wonder if the women who go commando maybe don’t get much in the way of...secretions.

Urgh. Such a grim word. The other one is worse though!

Obviously, I neither expect nor want anyone to describe their vaginal lubrications, so it’s just a rhetorical musing really. But yeah, that’s why I don’t go commando.

intheparcark · 25/07/2018 18:51

I get the paper cuts and it turned out to be lichen sclerosis.

Who gets that?
Are some people more prone to it than others?

bobdylannumber1 · 25/07/2018 18:52

Don't have this but I've sweaty boob and I'm in agony as I had a breast reduction two weeks ago and it's sweating on the stitches I've to wear. Big surgical bra I'm in agony☹️

Damnivy · 25/07/2018 19:00

Guys for Chubb rub, I 100% recommend lanacane anti chafe gel. First year I have ever used it. I get awful chuh rub, but have so far avoided it. Roll on deodorant over inner thighs after a shower, after it's dry apply the anti chafe gel. May need a top up if you do alot of walking around in the heat. I love it.

As for the sweating, God yes, it's so annoying.

BlondeVolvo · 25/07/2018 19:19

Oh god I’m 38 wks pregnant and everything is sweating, all intimate areas, under boob legs. And armpit sweating so bad I have the worst sweat rash so can only wear sleeveless tops at home!!!! I sympathise!!

flopsyandjim · 25/07/2018 19:30

omg I thought it was just me!

I thought it was my clothes now I realise it must be heat related

HBell1962 · 25/07/2018 19:37

Ok.... sweaty underboobies....
I am the owner of a pair of size 38DD's. Not only am I sweating naturally from the heat were having in England this summer, but have just hit menopause about 3 weeks ago. You can imagine my discomfort working ourside in a Garden Centre, but also in a care home a few evenings a week ! Sweating like a coal miner 😓💦
Anyway, I hit on a genius idea of putting absorbent panty liners under my boobs through sheer desperation !! So much better! ☺😎 I fold them in half lengthways sticky parts together, and place them under my boobs. I'm going to get slightly thicker ones, although these thin ones work just fine anyway. Give it a go 😀 Nice, soft & comfy xxx

batshitbetty · 25/07/2018 19:42

Good old baby powder after a shower does the job!!

batshitbetty · 25/07/2018 19:46

@buckeejit they have stopped doing lanacane powder 😞

Seasawride · 25/07/2018 19:48

Arian1

My ddil used child’s farm on her really bad psoriasis poor love and it’s worked like a bloody miracle. All the redness and weeping reduced in days, dried and much smaller lesions. Face completely clear and she’s glowing.

Bloody miracle stuff. And cheap

crimsonlake · 25/07/2018 19:51

I try to wear long loose dresses and no underwear, still get sweaty underboobs and I am not that well endowed.

ToPlanZ · 25/07/2018 19:53

A spacer bra does help with sweaty boobage. They're made of a lightweight material that allows air to circulate. When there is any air.....

MrsDc7 · 25/07/2018 19:54

Sweaty undertit is a nightmare...
I’m paranoid I’m walking around with a soaking wet top under there

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 25/07/2018 19:54

And the prize for the most smug and tone deaf post goes to.....

PegLegAntoine · 25/07/2018 19:56

For me the worst bit is when it happens at night and I wake up worried I've peed myself (I really haven't, I just sweat that much!)

Chanelprincess · 25/07/2018 20:00

GorgonLondon

The most likely explanation is that they're much fitter than you.

Seasawride · 25/07/2018 20:08

I can’t understand anything.....*

Oops sorry did I cut short your post there. Grin

HBell1962 · 25/07/2018 20:10

I've been commando for a few years now. It's no issue for me, I don't have "excess skin" down there, which shouldn't make a difference anyway. I don't chaff, it never hurts in the slightest, even with jeans. I don't miss knickers & never have health problems down there. Perhaps it's because the old girl can breathe
easy !!! Haha 😉😁
