Hi all, I’m a regular poster that’s nc because I don’t want people to find me irl.

So today I was traveling into work on the DLR and the front seat became available (you can see where this is going). I took my chance and sat there because it’s quite frankly fun.

Next stop a family gets on and the DS starts having a tantrum because he can’t sit there (bear in mind it’s getting really full up).

His DM asked if I could move but as my hip was hurting I replied that I could not as I can’t stand for long journeys.

WIBU? Hmm

I guess we just have more going on in our lives

Gosh how exhausting to be so high brow you can’t take pleasure from simple things.

Ask to see the reservation for the seat they are demanding.

Raised eye brows for all everyone who would ask an adult or child for that matter to move because their own child wanted to sit there!!! Totally indulgent bollocks.

But a child who is seven years old can still not hold on as well as an adult. And anybody who is ablebodied is oddly entitled if they think anybody should give up their seats for them.

Whenever I took a bus or DLR in London with my DC when younger, people were always offering them the front seats. I always thought it such a lovely thing to do that I offer them now myself.
