Shits about to go down in the salon.

Im a customer.

Girl has come in with hair down to her bum.

Requested it's cut to the collar bone.

Stylist tied it in little pony fails and cut removed the bands and it's up her neck the girl hasn't seen it properly yet and it looks slightly longer in the front. They have taken her over to wash her hair.

Omg omg omg shes going to go mad! She's just returned from basin whilst I'm typing! That is not collorbone length they have fucking bobbed her!!

Oh I hope she's ok poor soul. I know it's only hair but I've had near enough the same thing happen to me I sobbed the rest of the day in my room ha!

Oh the poor girl! I hope she has the nerve to say something.

I went for a cut once and my usual and trusted stylist was off sick so another did it and she layered it, cut off a few inches and gave me a Rachel despite me just asking for just half an inch off my one length hair. I paid, went home and cried, then tried another hairdresser the following day who fucked it up even more...so I went to another the day after that , via Boots for a pair of straightners and a shitload of products, and they didn't improve it either so two days later I tried another who cut it into a short bob and I've stuck with that salon for 15 years now.

If her hair was down to her bum, chances are her hair grows fast. She wanted it collar bone length and it’s at her neck? That’s a couple months growth. It’ll be collarbone length in no time

nope.

my hair is down to my bum and I can tell you its taken years (because I haven't been to the hair dressers for this very reason!!) (though I am actually going on Thursday!)

Are you sure she's actually upset? You might have missed part of a conversation where he suggested a shorter cut and she agreed. I usually don't have my specs on at the hairdresser's so my vacant stare could be interpreted as despair.

My mum did this to me when I was a kid! Asked for shoulder length hair but she couldn't get it straight so ended up giving me a bob. I wept in the mirror for hours. But it suited me, in the end...

Oh man this happened to me when I was 18, except it was one of those free haircuts from a tony and guys apprentice. I had super long hair and asked for shoulder length.
I got a chin length bob and was so upset. Said I loved it and went home and cried. Poor girl, hope she is ok!

My hair is down to my bottom.... There is no way on earth I'd go to any salon to get it cut - I waited YEARS to find a salon I trust and even though I moved 45 minutes drive away, I still go back there as would never trust anyone else.

That poor, poor girl - Obviously her hair will grow, but I'd be livid (however I was very timid early 20's so probably wouldn't have said anything either Sad)

Yes because your bum isn’t on your collarbone! Grin of course it takes years to get that long. This is her collarbone, if her hair is fast growing, we’re talking a few months.

I remember getting a perm as a teen - I had in mind Kylie Minogue lovely bouncy bouffy curls - it ended up being a shaggy perm with a fringe and I looked like an airdale terrier. Cried for a month.
