Shits about to go down in the salon.

Im a customer.

Girl has come in with hair down to her bum.

Requested it's cut to the collar bone.

Stylist tied it in little pony fails and cut removed the bands and it's up her neck the girl hasn't seen it properly yet and it looks slightly longer in the front. They have taken her over to wash her hair.

Omg omg omg shes going to go mad! She's just returned from basin whilst I'm typing! That is not collorbone length they have fucking bobbed her!!

I nearly cried when I had similar length hair cut off. Not because it was too short or I didn't like it, just the contrast of before and after. And however much I thought I wanted it done, it was so final.

Has she kept the long hair to donate to charity? Which was what prompted me to do mine.

Nah she definately hates it her teeth are grited... She's raging. I can tell. She's practically frothing at the mouth and I dont blame her.

I said prewarn manager in case stylist claims that the customer asked for a short/graduated Bob.
That way the manager can clarify the situation, not charge, bollock the stylist and hopefully find a way to make the customer happier. Most managers want happy customers and would rather know asap instead of after an online review.or just someone who never returns.

I had my very long hair cut off in one go but the hairdresser refused to do it unless I let her cut it an inch at a time! I was thrilled with it but my mum was a bit upset...

OMG! This stylist is terrible!!

I had really long hair, went in wanting a bob and stylist suggested cutting it half way first. She was great and said if I changed my mind I was welcome to come back within the week and she'd take more off free of charge. I'm glad she convinced me to wait for the bob although I went back a few months later and got it down. Although I got the crap manager, not my usual stylist who cut layers in the damn thing that I'm now having to grow out to cut all one length again. Angry

I can't take a pic the salon is pissing empty il be seen!!! And it will out me because I'm the only other customer in here so if any of the stylists are on here they will see it and know and I'm not due to he finished for a while!

You are far too invested in this girl's haircut, you've just told her she looks pretty. You can't now say jk about your hair looking nice and suiting you, I've been listening to exactly what you wanted done and this actually looks crap so don't pay the stylist.

one thing that could also help is telling her how great she looks when they are finished. Any confidence boost helps.

That just made me snort, but I agree 100%, a lady did this for me one when I was 18, I'd saved up for months to have my hair done at a nice salon a d they wrecked it.
Thanks to the lady I got it for free, and several follow up appointments to correct the damage free too. I now always speak up in the same kinds of situation, paying it forwards :)

Nope, it'll take a lot longer than a few months. I have fast growing hair and it took almost a year to grow it from short bob to collar bone length. Poor girl, I feel for her!!
