A little bit, of course, but we would certainly have settled for this outcome 3 weeks ago. I’m very proud of the way the lads played, the way they worked together and they way they did the country proud.

The arrogant, obnoxious, under-achieving so-called ‘golden generation’ disappointed then completely alienated England fans. These lads have united us behin£ them.

No. I'm not a football fan and I'm not English. Given that, I don't think it's surprising that I'm not gutted.

Truth be told, I'm slightly glad, as if they'd won we'd all be hearing about it ad nauseam for several weeks (possibly months to come). I suspect it would have become insufferable, so at least we've been spared that.

I have to say, the media hype has been doing my head in slightly. There are so many big issues going on in the world and most of the media have been crowing about England in the world cup (even the BBC which is supposed to represent all of the UK, not just England). Can't say I'll be sad that this will come to and end.

Ooh just read that euro 2020 final is going to be at Wembley!

It's a game. It would have been great to watch a final but things happen. I am glad it wasn't penalties - so no one gets the blame in the media.

It's incredibly sad to see so many bitter people who can't muster the smallest ounce of sympathy for the young lads who have been representing England, playing their hearts out, training harder than ever, missing families and friends who are desperately trying to leave their mark in their industry (not unlike many of us) and make us proud. But yes. Who gives a shit because it doesn't directly impact you

Not gutted as not a football fan but I do feel sad for all the fans (most of my family are football fans) and for the team.

Not gutted, disappointed to still not experience England in a final but very proud of the team, every player has played their part well and I've enjoyed watching their games.
