Ardent supporters, luke warm well wishers (I'm looking at you Scotland and Wales), waistcoat appreciators, Spurs, Arsenal, northern football fans, League 2 strugglers, those whose only interest is the office sweepstake, those playing 'It's coming home' on trumpets at 1am (I still haven't forgiven you for the vuvuzelas), those quietly sipping Chateauneuf du Pape with friends and family, Brexiters, Remainers and basically, anyone and everyone in between who isn't going to use the football as an excuse to jump up and down on emergency response vehicles or piss on a foreigner. Get over here now and leave the naysayers and misery gutses to it.

I've loved every minute of watching our lads play,all of our 5DC have been really excited and so has my DH,I think it's bloody brilliant.

I can not wait for tonight and I shall have everything crossed for our lads.

I have zero interest in Football, I shan't be watching but I hope they do well, it will not bother me personally for a quarter of a nanosecond if they lose.

I hope they win rather than any other team so I sort of vaguely support them I certainly don't wish them to lose. However, I do hope that win or lose we have no more expressing emotions or excitement or disappointment by damaging anyone's property or leaving broken beer bottles, vomit etc for someone else to clean up. I especially hope we have no increase in DV if they lose anyone that would harm someone else because of a sporting result needs perspective on sport and is a horrible mean bad person,

vickibee my dh never tires of telling me John Stones is an ex Barnsley player (he's from there and supports BFC). Also, his mum's best best friend's husband (now deceased) was good friends with Bobby Robson. That's just about my only tentative claim to football fame.

DH and I will don our lucky match shirts, I’m making a homemade (from scratch obviously ) pizza with a George cross. Courgette, cheese, onion, mushroom for the background, tomato and red pepper for the actual cross.
We will cheer and groan, as will our neighbours.

As for @laContessa, I will cheer on the other team for every match in which wales are playing from now, until the end of time, not only because of your “don’t care” but because of the sheer ignorance of you for even commenting on this thread when it specifically said “get over here if you want England to win” so technically LaCuntessa, you joined in so you do want England to win.

Another nervous watcher for tonight here! Whatever happens, I am very proud of our lads. This is the first England team in a while that have been modest, respectful, and likable.

I'm Scottish and not fussed about football but I think England have done very well and hope they win. I'm going to a baby shower on Sunday and will be disappointed to miss the final if England get in.

I've supported England forever and my first football memory is the penalties of '96. I can't really concentrate on much because I'm so excited! This group of players seem really lovely and like a proper team playing together.

Got my football songs on repeat today, and my fave is 'back home' from 1970. It's so sweet and I can imagine these lads singing it.
