Ardent supporters, luke warm well wishers (I'm looking at you Scotland and Wales), waistcoat appreciators, Spurs, Arsenal, northern football fans, League 2 strugglers, those whose only interest is the office sweepstake, those playing 'It's coming home' on trumpets at 1am (I still haven't forgiven you for the vuvuzelas), those quietly sipping Chateauneuf du Pape with friends and family, Brexiters, Remainers and basically, anyone and everyone in between who isn't going to use the football as an excuse to jump up and down on emergency response vehicles or piss on a foreigner. Get over here now and leave the naysayers and misery gutses to it.

I’m so emotional I’m almost crying when ‘it’s coming home’ is played on the radio

My 2 year old said this morning "Is football coming home today?" All DH's attempts to brainwash her have got her so confused. I think she's waiting for a football to arrive.

I was a big footie fan and have been to the world cup and was a season ticket holder for my team as well as games in other country's, then just changed and got really fed up with the whole business and have never attended a game for 4 years.

But wishing them all the very best for tonight's game.

My other half predicted a France/England final!!!!

I'm feeling so positive that even of England lose tonight I'll be seeking out their team bus upon their return and beating a way to the front to wave and blow kisses.

I think it's very sad that people wouldn't at least wish the team well, even if they don't have any interest in football.

I have absolutely no interest in football now I'm in my adult years but I'll be watching, hoping and praying for their success.

I say this also as someone who's 30th birthday is on Sunday so it may be completely sidelined! And DD is due any day now.

I am not into football but I have found myself getting drawn in to all this World Cup Drama!! and quite liking it!!!
We went to a kids BBQ event at our local School at the weekend and I found myself sneaking off into the hall to watch football!! Me!!!!
I am nervous and looking forward to the game tonight..(also have a teeny crush on Gareth Southgate lol-it's the waistcoat!!!)
