That's all, folks! Goodness only knows what happens now. But at least that Grade A twat is no longer representing us abroad.

I'm pleased but apprehensive - he is so egocentric I'm sure he will do whatever it takes to have a chance at becoming PM.

He doesn't have the have slightest experience of ordinary non privileged life - and I suspect no interest in it. Not sure he's any less terrifying than Jacob Rees-Mogg.

Seasawride · 10/07/2018 18:06

Yes agree Bishop but the actual facts are Blaire won elections. Until the party members care about this labour are fucked

The country will not vote in Corbyn. They didn’t when the Tories were vulnerable and if a Brexit deal is agreed they certainly won’t.

Corbyn has never done a days work in the real world in his life.
He flunked out of college and has had protected income ever since
and lives in a vahy naice house he inherited
he can afford to be a trendy leftie

many of the fools who think he's the messiah cannot

minniebirdy · 10/07/2018 18:13

It’s really disappointing to see people offering such polarised ignorant views on what are quite complex matters and just repeating slogans they pick up from the popular press and social media. What lies did Boris tell?
May has agreed the NHS funding that he talked about (though he never promised it). Please stop talking nonsense.

annandale · 10/07/2018 18:14

God almighty if this is going to turn into Tory catchphrase exchange I will be Disappointed. 'Not a quitter' 'never done a day's work' - sounds like Farage. If being an mp isn't a real job and is such a sinecure how about all of us putting down our keyboards and standing for office? If it's so easy and such an elite sew-up?

Ta1kinPeace · 10/07/2018 18:15

Yes but she did not say which magic money tree she was going to pick the funding from

There ain't no extra money from Brexit
every single worked scenario leaves every household poorer
how is that tricky to understand?

The dementia tax will be back, I suppose in theory to pay for some of the NHS funding. That's actually one of TM's best policies so I hope so. But if the rest comes from the ragged remaining shreds of local council funding, we can kiss goodbye to most of the services we have left.

Would love Keir Starmer as PM. He's gorgeous, intelligent, not a bullshitter. Heard him speak last week and he'd be so good at the top of the ship. But everybody loves Jeremy, he's Sooo popular.

Seasawride · 10/07/2018 18:23

annadale

Of course it’s easy in a safe seat. Abbott/a donkey with a rosette could win her seat ditto safe Tory seats.

Corbyn is an incompetent idiot just like Boris.

BishopBrennansArse · 10/07/2018 18:24

To be fair all the Leave bollocks was spouted by Farage who knows fuck all as he's never even been an MP - failed to get a seat 3 times.

People listen to him because they think the pint swilling blokey shit is real.

Seasawride · 10/07/2018 18:25

Keir thinks we can stay in the single market and the customs union and duck out of free movement

He’s another fucking idiot

Mrsstrange · 10/07/2018 18:27

Think he's the best of the bunch.

Seasawride · 10/07/2018 18:27

Bishop

Sgree he’s an arsehole and some people believe Corbyn is labour and can run the country when he’s never even run a council a union or a business.

Scary times

Seasawride · 10/07/2018 18:28

Agree it’s a terrible bunch

minniebirdy · 10/07/2018 18:28

How hard is it to understand that the net contribution sent to the Eu can be spent elsewhere when we stop sending it to them. And if all people can come up with is insults and nonsense there is no wonder that anyone with a modicum of intellect sneers at this website (which they do). stick to school lunches and sports days; something you do know about possibly.

Mummyoflittledragon · 10/07/2018 18:30

Mrss
Im sure labour can do better than KS. I agree he’s an improvement on JC but my dog would be an improvement. I prefer the Yvette cooper suggestion.

Mrsstrange · 10/07/2018 18:33

He's not long in politics so maybe not as corrupted as the current lot

TattyTshirt · 10/07/2018 18:34

*So two more have resigned

I have no doubt Boris is going to challenge May

I hope he falls flat on his face but I’m not sure he will*

They just said on the news that the two who have just resigned also did so because of the soft Brexit that is being negotiated.

I wonder how many others will follow suit and make up BJ's party for a hard brexit? He'll have Farage behind him...

It's a no win situation for us atm.

Hopefully some new blood, with intelligence, integrity and high hopes for UK will materialise soon.

Otherwise, yes Seesaw, we're fucked!

pfttt · 10/07/2018 18:34

minniebirdy - ah right, us little women should just shut up as we're only mothers and know nothing about anything except 'school lunches and sports days'. Grin

You REALLY know how to win over people on Mumsnet!! Grin Grin Grin

pfttt · 10/07/2018 18:36

Boris is definitely going to challenge May.

How do I know this?

Because he has publicly announced that he has absolutely no interest in being leader. And when his lips move, HE'S LYING.

pfttt · 10/07/2018 18:38

Personally, Twitter has helpfully worried me to fuck by pointing out the real thing to be scared of is coming up in a week - the NATO summit. In which Trump is looking increasingly likely to do as Putin told him to do or else- pull out of NATO.

And if that happens, then Brexit is relatively small fry in terms of the utter shit this country (and Europe) are in.

BishopBrennansArse · 10/07/2018 18:39

Yeah everyone is royally fucked if that happens
