There's some really funny people on here and some stuff has me smiling for days. One I read recently was about the names small children called their parents instead of Mummy and Daddy. One poster wrote that her DC called her DH "Daddy" and called her "Not Daddy" - still makes me smile.

I truly love the dead cat thread.

Yerroblemom1923 · 04/07/2018 19:22

The pfb where the mother put baby shampoo in her own eyes to check it really was "no more tears " and wouldn't sting if her pfb got it in their eyes!

Sherriyousmelldifferent · 04/07/2018 19:27

Does the Maui thread still exist?

Hidillyho · 04/07/2018 19:28

ProPenguin

I think I remember it. Was it someone she wasn’t close to and then because she said it they then started asking questions about the process?

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 04/07/2018 19:28

And the Hugo thread.

Everytimehugoaway

😂

halfwitpicker · 04/07/2018 19:31

The PFB thread was comedy gold, the woman that took of a layer of clothing so she had one less in than her child so they weren't cold, I told my friend that story the other day.

^

I remember that. Mind boggling in so many ways.

TorviBrightspear · 04/07/2018 19:31

There's one thread, can't remember the title and it might have been in relationships.

Was about embarrassing sex moments, and I recall BB one poster who said she'd been on top and her hips or legs had locked, meaning she couldn't get off her BF. I think she had to call for help from her DSis and her BF, who came in and literally lifted her off. Not sure she ever saw that BF again........

spiderlight · 04/07/2018 19:31

OMG @Doman - I was thinking about the bin bags on the line the other day! Did the poster ever find out what was going on?

ProPenguin · 04/07/2018 19:32

Hidillyho

Yes, that’s the one - wish I could find it to see how it ended.

Dannysmam1 · 04/07/2018 19:34

Not often I read a thread from start to finish - laughing so much I fell sick.

Just read the DH Ate The Fatballs thread - Priceless! Grin

Off now to search for:

Pooed on my skirt at work
Little Koran lady
Shat upon neighbours pouffe
Your minge!
T-Rex in Asda
Penis Beaker

Makegoodchoices · 04/07/2018 19:37

“This is my wanking jacket” still has me in stitches now while I’m typing

Marmite27 · 04/07/2018 19:39

Friday nights at Center Parcs and the Jewish fridge.

Two separate threads, but a nicely obscure film title if ever I saw one. Grin

Effendi · 04/07/2018 19:57

Just reading lemon drizzle again.
Fuck YOU, lemon drizzle murderer. Fuck you right up the bum.

spiderlight · 04/07/2018 20:02

Oh God, the pouffe!!

Oddcat · 04/07/2018 20:05

I loved the one where the Op's husband went out to do the Christmas shop and came back with random useless food.

And the Jizz car - something like 'there are two people living in a car outside my house'

And the one about fashion expectations v's reality . One poster bought a shawl to wear - the line about 'looking like a steerage passenger off the Titanic' left me howling .

Sooperkat · 04/07/2018 20:06

Years ago when I was naming DS there was a thread with a woman with triplets.
Faith, Hope... and Kevin

Poor Kevin

MrsPilkington · 04/07/2018 20:14

This has been too much for me 😂 I rarely comment on anything but I do read quite a bit and feels so nostalgic now. Sigh

Hidillyho · 04/07/2018 20:16

I remember a really weird one, when the OP came back after a year to resurrect her own post claiming it had all been a dream. She mention fraud etc in her first post

Similar to this but I think a different poster there was someone who posted to MN (I can’t remember what about annoyingly) and then resurrected her own post by answering her own question with her own experiences and it took for other posters to let her know that she was answering her own question

MrPan · 04/07/2018 20:19

Posters name "Atyourcervix".

Unfortunately she isn't a midwife.

FrayedHem · 04/07/2018 20:19

@Hidillyho was that a pushchair review?

MrPan · 04/07/2018 20:21

And of course the cutted up pear thread.

MrPan · 04/07/2018 20:23

The cooked hamster thread was Greensleeves about a gazillion years ago.

Clutterbugsmum · 04/07/2018 20:31

There was one a few years ago where the mumnetter was looking after a friend toddler and the toddler, coloured herself in green pen, wanted to sleep in the dogs bed.

The mumnetter had older teens and had forgotten how 'interesting' toddlers can be. It was just so funny with the antics the toddler got up to.

spiderlight · 04/07/2018 20:32

I remember the pushchair review one where the woman was terribly helpful to herself about a year later.

TorviBrightspear · 04/07/2018 20:37

I thought atyourcervix was a midwife, hence the name.
