OK I qas having that Sunday sadness feeling and now I'm feeling casually pissed off and jealous because I went on FB and an ad popped up featuring this woman (Tammy Hemsomething apparently).

How is it possible to look like this?! What I mean is is this the result of just working out or what? But how can she get her body fat down so low for the waist, but not on her bum or tits?!

reading all your post make me picture you with a very VERY unflattering body appearance.

That's what you said, right?

You don't want to apologise, that's fine, your decision.

ikeepaforkinmypurse · 21/06/2018 18:40

if you are trying to pretend you don't understand the point I was making, I can't help you.

You agree with me anyway, if one thing is not acceptable to write, then all the nasty comments on this thread aren't either. Which is my bloody point!
Glad at least we agree on something!

rosesandflowers1 · 21/06/2018 18:40

And therein lies the issue

That I don't think her having undergone a procedure to make her feel more happy diminishes barely related successes and achievements?

Confused

I don't think I have an issue.

rosesandflowers1 · 21/06/2018 18:42

Sorry, I deleted the phrase "with her body" somehow Blush Doesn't make a huge difference but just in case it gets misinterpreted.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 21/06/2018 18:46

No, I don't agree with you, ikeep.

I see you value my opinion very much, and I'm flattered, but sorry, I can't reciprocate there.

ikeepaforkinmypurse · 21/06/2018 18:59

good grief, chardonnays mate, make yourself a cup of tea, and read the thread.

If you actually agree with online bullying and all the hate posts on here, then of course you are right, we are not agreeing, I misunderstood!

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 21/06/2018 19:03

I’ve read it.

And I read your insulting comment on it.

ikeepaforkinmypurse · 21/06/2018 19:05

It is funny that among the 20+ (?) posts I must have rambled on this thread, you pick one sentence and take it completely out of its context. Grin

Internet forum at his best.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 21/06/2018 19:16

Not just a sentence and it’s quite sad you think that.

It’s the practice of misuse of the political correctness, which is something you did and which cheapens the whole concert.

Also, you claim to be vehemently opposed to bullying and you show this how? By insults?

Damn right I don’t agree with you.

ikeepaforkinmypurse · 21/06/2018 19:44

I can't figure out if you genuinely didn't understand my post or if you have decided to ignore half of it. It doesn't matter either way, I won't quote Mark Twain it would be politically incorrect Wink

PunkrockerGirl59 · 21/06/2018 20:13

I'm just not seeing the 'beauty' in silicone filled lips, a vapid expression and a bubble bum
^this
Anyone suggesting that this is comparable to hair dying, wearing braces etc is clearly missing the point. This woman, for whatever reason, has morphed herself into the equivalent of a cartoon character of a woman.
Not something I'd wish any daughter of mine to see, let alone aspire to.

I'd be careful of calling features like big lips or a bubble bum a "cartoon character". You're aligning yourself with parts of history you probably don't want to.

Further, like I said upthread, an hourglass figure isn't really that bizarre. Achieved by surgery or not (and honestly, I think only her boobs are, possibly her lips) her figure is not so out there that it's caricature-like or cartoonish. To imply that it is ludicrously strange, or appears like something fictional, is not only insulting to women who do have a similar curvy figure but I think it's simply self-indulgence.

You can come for me all you like but I can't think of another reason why you'd paint an hourglass figure as physically impossible otherwise.

You imagine your posts to be far more searing and incisive than they actually are.

I don't really imagine my posts to be anything. I just write them.

Nothing particularly incisive about "eye roll" in any case.

MariaMadita · 22/06/2018 16:42

Hourglass figures aren't that raw and definitely attainable for quite a few women :)

In the case of this woman...

Well, a lot of exercise, a good angle, the 'right' tan, chicken cutlets etc can already make a big difference.

And being lucky in regards to the genetic lottery...

Maybe also a little photoshop, waist trainers or plastic surgery... => There you go.
