Looking at pictures of Meghan in a floral dress that she wore at a wedding yesterday, I can't help but believe that maybe it's high time she got herself a better stylist.
The frock is just hideous on such a stunning woman.Shock

I agree. I always look divine now I have a better stylist. 😎

Guna100 · 18/06/2018 10:01

I think the dress was far too big on her - she definitely needs some more help regarding clothes, to make sure they are fitted correctly etc. I loved the print though, it was lovely.

Battleax · 18/06/2018 10:23

a very ordinary bride

Unbelievable. Imagine men commenting on other men like this. Women are their own worst enemy.

It’s not “women” collectively or as a group. It’s just that some people really are unpleasant enough to say things like; “I think it was on purpose so as not to upstage the very ordinary bride”.

Astonishing but there it is.

LyingWitchInTheWardrobe2726 · 18/06/2018 10:35

Agree with Battleax, again. I'm also a woman, I wouldn't do this because it's distasteful to me to pick apart what another woman wears. It's not feminism or 'sisterhood', it's just not being a spiteful twat for no good reason.

There are obviously some very inadequate people out there that their lives are so lacking that they have to do this.

NotTakenUsername · 18/06/2018 10:41

Women are their own worst enemy. 🙄

Gottagetmoving · 18/06/2018 13:20

she looks horribly thin

You've been looking at too many fat people 😕
Meghan is not horribly thin or horribly anything else.

Depressing

GeorgiesBoat · 18/06/2018 14:01

I think it's a lovely dress. Possibly a tad big for her, but very beautiful (as is she)

AntiqueSinger · 18/06/2018 15:49

It was a tad too big. I blame the designer for not ensuring she had the proper size. I also thought they had people who lay out their outfits, ladies maid or some such, or is that very Downton Abbey? So it's not entirely her fault by any means. Also couldn't harry have said it looks a little loose? My DH would have wasted no timeGrin

ALittleAubergine · 18/06/2018 16:22

The dress wasn't to my liking. If someone thinks that's an insult or offensive then so be it.

Tangled59 · 18/06/2018 16:30

If youre gunna start this kind of thread at least have the decency to attach a fucking picture

user1485342611 · 18/06/2018 16:34

I didn't like the dress. I have really liked some other stuff Meghan has worn.

I hate these threads where someone makes a mildly critical remark, the kind people make all the time in RL, and a lot of posters come on being really nasty and supercilious while berating the OP for being 'judgey' and 'critical' and being really snide. Basically patting themselves on the back for being so pleasant and non judgmental when they come across as anything but.

Mrskeats · 18/06/2018 18:05

very ordinary bride is not mildly critical. It’s really nasty.

MariaMadita · 18/06/2018 18:10

is not mildly critical. It’s really nasty.

Well, is it truly that bad to be 'ordinary'?

user1485342611 · 18/06/2018 18:11

Im talking about the OP being criticised.

RoseWhiteTips · 18/06/2018 18:14

The point is the bride is lovely and not “ordinary” at all. The word “ordinary” used by the poster has connotations of plain and not attractive.

MariaMadita · 18/06/2018 18:16

The bride being lovely is a subjective matter.

Ordinary, normal, average etc...? Not inherently negative.

Believeitornot · 18/06/2018 18:16

I thought she looked lovely. The dress is not supposed to be fitted, it’s kind of a bohemian floaty type look.

She looks great and just the right thing for that temperamental June type weather where it’s not that hot or that cold.

She’s a beautiful woman.

Aeroflotgirl · 18/06/2018 18:17

Her dress was unflattering, and looked like a dressing gown or nightwear, it did nothing for her beautiful shape.

KettleBells · 18/06/2018 18:22

I started this thread and I do apologise as I'd not seen an earlier one. Please feel free to ask MN to remove it ( I have).
Once again, sorry.

There is absolutely no need to apologise for starting a thread just because there are other ones. What if you hadn't seen? Didn't advance search and tbh who can be arsed? If we all did that there would be no threads here at all. Fucking posters bitching because this had already been posted. So fucking what?? Scroll on duh Hmm

saganorenscarandcoat · 18/06/2018 18:25

I feel sorry for the woman. The sooner she learns that you can't please everyone the better. Hopefully she's wise enough to not give a fuck. If I was a new member of the Royal family I would just get on with it and not give a shiny shit what people think. Be yourself , be happy with it and if you've nothing nice to say keep quiet.

MapleLeafRag · 18/06/2018 18:33

She looks ok in my book. If she had turned up in a show-stopping outfit then no doubt she would be criticised for trying to outdo the bride. She can’t win whatever she does.

I’m surprised the Daily M hasn’t asked her vile half-sister to comment on it too.

Allabitmuchisntit · 18/06/2018 18:46

I like it.

RoseWhiteTips · 18/06/2018 19:10

MariaMadita
Are you married? Post a pic of you as s bride. Pretty please...
