Looking at pictures of Meghan in a floral dress that she wore at a wedding yesterday, I can't help but believe that maybe it's high time she got herself a better stylist.
The frock is just hideous on such a stunning woman.Shock

The dress is horrible but maybe she didn’t want to upstage the bride?

Deliberately wore a horrible dress so as not to upstage the bride? Confused

Or maybe she just wore a dress she liked?

I just googled it. It’s a perfectly nice dress.

Nicknacky I see you point but I think part of the reason is also that men’s clothing is boring (well to me
anyway!) especially wedding guest attire.

Discussing fashion is interesting to some people. I would more sorry for the dress designer than Megan.

Justhere OP has apologised, however for you to tell her to fuck off, just shows what sort of person you are. Really disgusting.
However affected you are re: the post, you DO NOT have the right to insult someone for their opinion.
Who are you, Doria Rutland ? Seeeeth😡

OP I know a log of people enjoy judgmental fashion twaddle. But it’s best to do it on the S&B board.

Maybe she chose it herself and liked it?

Really? Have got nothing better to do on a Sunday than slag off dresses?

So sad

What are you doing this Sunday? Negotiating world peace? Curing cancer?

Or acting superior on Mumsnet?

Googled it and I rather like it.

Battleax Grin No, not quite that but I wonder if it does cross her mind?
She is a very attractive, very famous woman. All eyes (and camera lenses) are on her.
Maybe she does like it but it is very different to her previous style choices.

It looks way too big. I loved the beige caped dress last week when she was with the Queen.

Hi CoughLaughFart - im doing a bit of housework, having some lunch then heading over to my dad’s later for Father’s Day. I’m posting on MN too inbetween - i don’t believe I’m superior but I’m not creating threads for the sole purpose of slagging people off. Hope that answers your question honeybun xx

But why slate her dress at all? I don’t get why not liking someone’s outfit is worthy of a thread. But then we rarely see threads critiquing a mans clothing, only a woman. Wonder why that is.......

It’s a group bonding ritual for fashion victims. They have ridiculously narrow parameters about how they deem it acceptable for a woman to look and they demonstrate their worthiness to belong to the gang by minutely criticising the apparel choices of other women.

They did it to Kate Middleton for years.

some seriously nasty comments on this Thread... just awful

Sparklesocks, well the OP has nothing better to do than be on MN, just as you haven't.

She might be planning on it for pregnancy, if not, it wasn't worth whatever she paid for it.

If I had have tried it on in the Newlook sale, I wouldn't have bought it. However, it was a good choice in terms of blending in. Lady Kitty will be the focus, once again, in the gutter press.

I like it. But everyone likes different stuff. Life would be boring if we all liked the same things.

Just sarcastically calling them ‘honeybun’. Have a fucking pineapple.

Yes Birdsgottafly but there’s a difference between engaging on MN and creating threads for the sole purpose of slagging women and their clothes off. It’s not really in the spirit is it?

Smile

I think she’s being quite clever actually; She’s making a point of embracing loose styles regularly from immediately after the wedding, which will make it much easier to deliberately frustrate womb-watch later.

She’s buying herself a sliver of privacy with her choices. She’s smart.

I guarentee she looks better in that dress than you do right now. Leave her alone. She's not criticizing your clothing.

CoughLaughFart maybe not a whole one, but im partial to a ring or two!
