Looking at pictures of Meghan in a floral dress that she wore at a wedding yesterday, I can't help but believe that maybe it's high time she got herself a better stylist.
The frock is just hideous on such a stunning woman.Shock

OP posts:
blackteasplease · 17/06/2018 17:08

Well it looks really lovely. But I can see tue point being made that it's hardly news!

ajandjjmum · 17/06/2018 17:12

Hideous.

But she presumably liked it.

MeyYael · 17/06/2018 17:39

It's obvious she's up the duff, why else would she wear a dress that size?

Didn't she wear tight dresses very recently as well?

People don't just explode in size from one day to the other...

(She may very well be pregnant. But I'd be very surprised if she was already in the 'loose clothing to hide it'- stage...)

keyboardkate · 17/06/2018 17:43

Bride's dress was just gorgeous, and she is the stamp of Diana too, smile and nose are exact copies of D.

I'm only into wedding dresses. Guests can do one. Even D of Sussex. Pfff.

lifechangesforever · 17/06/2018 17:44

I think the dress is lovely Confused

Has anyone liked anything she's worn so far?! As soon as she's seen out, there's posts about what she's wearing and how she needs a stylist. Maybe she has one or maybe she doesn't want one.. the rest of us seem to manage.

MeyYael · 17/06/2018 18:01

I really like this dress.

Her wedding dresses were nice as well imo. Wink

petrolpump28 · 17/06/2018 18:14

she looks horribly thin.

NotTakenUsername · 17/06/2018 18:48

she looks horribly thin.

Now that is a cunty comment.

RoseWhiteTips · 17/06/2018 18:54

I liked the dress. And the hair. She looked very pretty and her being so slender is a big plus.

RoseWhiteTips · 17/06/2018 18:57

The bride of PH’s male cousin wore a n enchanting dress. I loved it:

*an

RoseWhiteTips · 17/06/2018 18:58

No doubt someone will think it didn’t fit her.

ChristineAndMaryBeth · 17/06/2018 18:59

I like it.

Fuckwithnosensesauce · 17/06/2018 19:05

I can't believe how vicious and nasty some of the posters are being to OP who lets be honest has commented gently in the negative about a truely hideous dress worn by Megan. I was reading the Harry thread and found myself bewitched by the awlfulness of Megan's dress. I thought it looked as though she'd grabbed the Queen's nighty on the way out the door and wrapped it around her.

Grin

The dress reminds me too much of the dresses I used to wear as a little girl. It looks a bit childish / infantilising imo.

But she does look very put-together and happy :) which is what ultimately matters, isn't it?

(I'm currently looking at wedding dresses... And tbh, I've come to the conclusion that the bride's - my - happiness is all that matters... It's just so complicated. All I want is a comfortable dress that I can wear with flats. And dance in😖...)

blackteasplease · 17/06/2018 19:26

I love that dress rosewhite . Really stylish and understated.

D of Sussex has fabulous taste though. She is so much better dressed than her SIL it amazes me this is debated. Her wedding dress was not too big - it was beautiful, understated and classy. Kate's was the epitome of meh.

SandyY2K · 17/06/2018 19:32

It's a matter of individual taste. I thought the dress was fine...but then Meghan would look great whatever she wears.
There's far too many critics here.

MeyYael · 17/06/2018 19:40

Seeing as we're talking about wedding dresses...

How do you feel about trousers? Knee-length? Grecian(-ish) styles?

(My sister and friends seem to prefer more 'standard' dresses. They either don't have legroom, require heels, make me afraid to properly breather in... 🙄)

Hygge · 17/06/2018 20:28

She can wear whatever she wants and doesn't need a stylist if she doesn't want one. If she uses one she'll only get bitched about for wasting money because she can't dress herself.

There was a thread on here very recently about the actress who plays Liv on Emmerdale wearing a similar dress and people were saying she looked great in it and shouldn't have to 'flash the flesh' because some crappy journalist complained she wasn't showing enough of herself.

Can we not just let women wear things they like without picking them to pieces?

NotTakenUsername · 17/06/2018 22:32

A tad dramatic, no? One knew what one was getting into when one married into royalty. She is not just a woman, she is a public figure. The royal family know exactly what they are doing and use the media very effectively.

Hygge · 18/06/2018 08:10

"A tad dramatic, no?"

No.

"One knew what one was getting into when one married into royalty."

One knew what one was getting into? A tad wanky, no?

Harry is also a public figure but nobody is bitching about his outfit. She turned up to a family wedding wearing a dress. So yes, can we not just let women wear things they like without picking them to pieces? Apparently not.

lubeybooby · 18/06/2018 08:43

I think it was on purpose so as not to upstage the very ordinary bride

Stephisaur · 18/06/2018 09:01

I like the pattern on Meghan's dress.

The fit isn't my kind of thing, but she looks very comfortable. It's also been really warm and muggy lately, so I can't say I blame her for wanting something a bit breezy!

Has nobody else here worn something to an event because they liked it and felt comfortable in it? Not everything has to be a fashion statement, even for celebrities and royals.

NotTakenUsername · 18/06/2018 09:57

Oh Hygge Grin

More than a tad wanky, one would hope - one intended to be remarkably wanky. Wink

Mrskeats · 18/06/2018 10:00

a very ordinary bride
Unbelievable. Imagine men commenting on other men like this. Women are their own worst enemy.
And who cares about a dress? Leave her alone. Horrible people.
