I know FIFA and Russia and whoever is involved is horrible in some way... But it's the actual World Cup. Mexico v South Korea suddenly becomes hugely important to my life! England have a likeable squad and manager. Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar. Spain sacking their manager yesterday.

It's so exciting isn't it!

Neither are Croatia. They won all of their games.

Hmm it's not so much that I want England to have an easy ride - I just can't stand Ronaldo and Maradona (I know he's not playing any more but while he's still in the stands I'll be wanting Argentina to lose) and well Germany are our old rivals who have won too much already (the Man U of the international game I guess).

I have nothing against Spain for instance - though would probably support any underdog against them - which of course is another reason not to support Portugal and Argentina - they are rarely the underdogs.

Oh and Brazil has the moany, whiney, annoying Neymar!
