What is your favourite feature on your body and why?

We put so much pressure on ourselves and concentrate deeply on our insecurities that we often forget about our good bits (I think so anyway).

Mine: my eyes. I'm mixed race with dark skin, but my eyes are bright green/blue. People comment on them a lot but I forget how unique they are when I look at myself...

Your turn!

jilted no need to apologise! Good to hear you don't focus on negatives. I shouldn't phrased differently as it was a generalisation.

My hair. That's about it!

WatermelonGlitter · 16/06/2018 09:27

I have lovely ankles, though they swelled up hideously this last holiday (for some unknown reason) which really upset me.

GoldenButtercup · 16/06/2018 09:30

My nails. I bit them for years until I met my DP and stopped biting them. I now have to trim them regularly as they grow so quickly and strong! Smile

I have wonderful breasts. When they were 34a they were perfect pert oranges.
With weight gain (36d) they have morphed into pert grapefruits.
People ask if they're implants. At age 55 I can still get away with no bra. They're the one feature I am truly proud of.

Miladamermalada · 16/06/2018 16:50

Mine are pert melons, the level of pert has lowered to my navel though.

BeyondThePage · 16/06/2018 16:53

my best feature is my left foot - it looks lovely, nice soft curve of toes from big down to small, all lie nicely next to each other, with beautiful strong nails.

(my right foot has an overlapping toe, bunion and a previously broken lumpy toe - such a difference)

dickxydoraxx · 16/06/2018 16:56

I have fairly large womanly hips. I like them. They make my waist look tiny.

SheSnapsThenSheFarts · 16/06/2018 17:05

My eyes. I have three colours in them (mostly green, with blue and hazel speckles). I also like my nails, teeth and lips. Plenty I don't like as well mind you.....

Great thread though very sad that some posters can’t see anything beautiful about their body.😔 The poster whose child tells her she is pretty- please don’t roll your eyes away from her. Try to look her in the eye, smile, and say thank you. You don’t have to believe what she’s saying, but she believes it.

I love my collarbones and shoulders, upper arms and back. Have also got a good bottom, slim hips, thick hair, and nice feet.

I’d have struggled to come up with much of a list 10 years ago, but life experiences have taught me so much, and I love and respect my healthy body more than I ever did when I was actually young and beautiful and nubile! (‘youth is wasted on the young’ makes sense, at last).

I’m finally comfortable in my skin. I’m owning the crone. Grin

My smile. I see how, when I give t to someone, they react as though I've given them a pot of money. I love to see the reaction. My son has the same smile too, and it has the same effect on people .
