Disappointing to see Meghan morphing into Kate?

I've just seen the pictures of the Royal Family on the balcony for the Trooping of the Colour parade and it really seems like Meghan is being turned into a Kate clone, with the slightly odd old fashioned clothes and badly curled hair? I had hoped they palace would let her be herself.

I actually think Meghan looks nice, the colour really suits her and I think the fact it's off shoulder makes it look a little less frumpy but I'm really not liking Kate's dress and hat it just makes her look old and far too much like a MOTB.

Her hair isn't badly curled at all, it's fine. The dress is actually quite refreshing, I don't remember seeing Kate in many off the shoulder dresses like that..

Off the shoulder is common. It matters not what your size is.
But in MM’s case, because she is now married to a royal prince, she should dress as befits her new position.

As a parallel, brides who wear off the shoulder wedding dresses never look as classy as brides who cover the shoulder area.

This might sound weird but I feel bad for Kate recently, there's something behind her eyes. She seems sad. I guess she's in a similar boat to me with 3 young DCs, so perhaps it's just the strain of juggling the three of them.

Oddcat I think Amal Clooney is a good ref (only at formal occasions) she can do classic with a modern twist that both of these outfits lack.

Meghan is still finding her royal style feet. Dress was no doubt extremely formal by American standards. Perfect for any other formal event, but the bare shoulders were way too revealing for Trooping of the Colour. Not one member of theRF wears of the shoulder during the day. Her wedding dress was more covered up than this.

Kate used to wear short skirts when she was first married. She has great legs but has toned it down in recent years.

Yawn. They both look absolutely fine. What a load of bollocks their clothes make them look 10 years older - you can tell from their youthful skin and hair and neat figures that they are both young women. What they are wearing is no more unnatural than some of the other stuff that celebrity figures wear because they feel it is expected far more than because they genuinely love it or feel comfortable in it themselves. In fact, many celebrities seem to spend most of their time looking bloody silly because they get criticised for being seen in anything practical or comfortable...

She looks just right for the occasion.

Duchess wears clothes on balcony shocker when royal are on duty they can't rock up in their jeans can they? They have dressers what would you like her to wear. The Duchesses probably need to be a bit matchy so the daily fail don't make up some sort of feud,

personally i like Meghans outfit i think its a lot younger than Kates but opinions are subjective .

They both look lovely, it is a formal occasion. They can wear their ripped jeans and breton tops whatever when out of the limelight.

And look at the figure on Kate a few weeks after giving birth. I just cannot believe how trim she looks.

Ah well, gossip and comment are what keep them there in the limelight!

Well I think they both look beautiful but then I’m in the MOB age group so obviously beneath contempt according to some on here.🙄
