Disappointing to see Meghan morphing into Kate?

I've just seen the pictures of the Royal Family on the balcony for the Trooping of the Colour parade and it really seems like Meghan is being turned into a Kate clone, with the slightly odd old fashioned clothes and badly curled hair? I had hoped they palace would let her be herself.

It's Royal protocol. Not morphing into Kate...and her outfit is nicer than Kate's IMO. The off shoulder style looks nice.

Beatrice and Eugenia are not in the inner circle so they do what they wish. Anyway real princesses are allowed. Camilla, Kate and Meghan are commoners who have married in.

I'm a bit of a 'fan' and was hoping that Meghan would continue with her stylish dress sense and not become a frump like Kate and most of the other royal women. Sophie Wessex is an exception and usually looks great. I guess I don't like to see women turned into what old courtiers think the nation wants to see. The world won't end at the sight of a kneecap.

Today's dress neckline was a little more daring than Kate usually wears but there does seem to have been a slight change; maybe it was just the occasion. It's early days, though, so hopefully the usually stylish Meghan will return.

OP, you may not - as you claim - meant to have started a Meghan hating thread, but you are coming across (in your posts) as bitter and envious.

Love Meghan’s outfit , but Kate is looking frumpy in that get up.

People going on about Kate looking frumpy or miserable, FGS, her third baby isn't even 2 months old!

I think she looks really nice. Is it just me,or does her face look different? I can't put my finger on it. Tbh,if I had seen the picture with just her in it,I would have been hard pushed to realise it was her.

Beatrice and Eugenie look like the two ugly sisters now. Kate and Meagan look like the prettier ones, but with equally hideous clothes.

Even my mum would think those outfits are dated. I think it's a bit sad to see women in their 30s wearing clothes like that.

faint at the sight of kneecaps it's only recently that Kate has been wearing longer skirts. She often had shorter dresses until recently.

Meghan knows not to deliberately outshine HM at Trooping the Colour and there will be guidelines as to what the ladies choose to wear.
The curls.....it could just be something she’s trying out? I am not a fan of plate hats but I think the shade and style of Meghan’s dress looked lovely on her.
