Who should get up early with toddler

I genuinely don't know what is fair.

We have DS1 (18 months) and DS2 (6 weeks)
My DH works full time 8:30-4pm Mon-Fri. I am on maternity leave.

I am up 2-3 times per night feeding the newborn baby (he's pretty good baby to be honest).
Our toddler wakes up between 5am and 6:30 am. And is occasionally up during the night.

Who should get up with the toddler early in the morning? Me who had had a disturbed night sleep every night, or DH who has work all day (he leaves At 8am)?

Also- on the rare occasion toddler wakes during the night, who should be the one to go to him and settle him? (It can take 1-2 hours to settle him)

DH thinks I should as he works. AIBU to think he should? As I am up every night with newborn... Or at least we should take it in turns?

Can’t believe some people think it should be you?! I have two under two and my husband is responsible for the toddler (bedtime, morning and in the night) and I take the baby (between 3-5 wakes in the night). Baby is 4 months old. Maybe you could share mornings but you don’t know how your babies sleep is going to develop, it could get much worse. You could have long periods of awake with the baby - you don’t want to get yourself into a situation where both children are just your problem at night, it needs to be a team effort with consideration for both parents. He should deal wth the toddler in the night, if toddler is awake for an hour there is a good chance the baby would wake in that time anyway and potentially get both children even more disturbed than needed.
