Royal wedding outfits (because they are the best bit!)

Without being bitchy about actual physical attributes, who looked great and who didn't quite make the grade?

I thought the bride's mother's outfit was lovely. Amal Clooney's yellow dress looked fab. Pippa Middleton's dress was v pretty. I liked Victoria beckham's too. Some lovely hats here:

But Eugenie and Beatrice bless them both seem to have gone for quite unflattering dresses in my personal opinion. They are young, slim, pretty, have lovely shiny hair and have an unlimited budget - how do they manage to get the dresses wrong?!

The York girls looked very nunty. A big improvement with the hats though. Their mum didn't look very elegant either.
Amal really stood out. Her and George looked fabulous.
I thought the hat with the big sticky up feathers looked ridiculous but there was a beautiful powder blue creation, all frothy and shimmery that caught my eye.
Some lovely floral dresses on show.

Loved the blue polka dots - she stood out for me. Also thought joss stone looked pretty.

I had to look up who the Suits people were.I don't think Priyanka Chopra did herself any favours with that outfit.She is naturally beautiful and could have worn a gorgeous dress . I loved Amal Clooney' s outfit.

I also quite liked Princess Beatrice's outfit. The colour was gorgeous and it was SO much better than her last royal wedding effort. Poor Eugenia, not so much.

I loved Kitty Spencer’s jade dress, I thought that was stunning.

I think the Duchess of Cornwall looked lovely, as did Pippa Mathews and Sophie Wessex. But for best outfits, I'd say Carey Mulligan, Kitty Spencer and the lady wearing a pink shift dress with bowed sleeves, it was beautifully cut.... I've no idea who she was though .

Worst outfit of the day was Chloe Madeley - no bra and tiny straps. Did no one tell her you cover your shoulders in church and wear a bra in front of the Queen......... .

Normally i am a big Sophie fan but the skirt of her outfit looked a bit too big in scale. She is a good example of a woman in her fifties who isn’t like a stick insect but keeps herself very fit, and it shows. She wears lovely colours, too.

Blue Polka Dot Dress... Abigail Spencer from Suits and more importantly TIMELESS... Season 2 on e4 weds 10pm and season 1 on Netflix!... I nearly fell out of my chair when I spotted her... Didn't realise she was in suits!... She's lovely in Timeless and if you love her outfit at the wedding... Wait till you see Timeless! The costumes there are lovely! ... But in danger of cancellation at the moment!... But watch it! Its great... Especially Master Seargant Wyatt Logan..

I am a member of some Facebook handbag enthusiast groups (I know!) and there are frequently threads about people trying to match a brightly hued bag with a pair of shoes. The most elegant women yesterday were certainly not carrying a fuschia or bright blue bag and matching heels, it was far more subtle—either the heels or the bag in a particular colour, not both.

I am a fan of Timeless and love Abigail Spencer's outfits in it. I wasn't keen on her at all in Suits but love her in Timeless.

I loved the aquamarine ring and matching pale blue soles of her shoes for MM’s evening attire.

Although it did leave my dsis sure that she must be pregnant with a boy.

looks like some agreement for my opinion that high heels are really, really fugly. Not just for how they look but for the waddle they produce. Women staggering because of crap shoes just look total fools. Doesn't mean ballet flats (just as fugly and waddly) but these people are rich enough to have shoes made, so have a choice. unlike the rest of us.

I also don't like huge flowers, and I agree that wotsername with the tiny straps and thus the boobs heading south didn't do herself any favours. Cleavage is never a pretty sight on anyone.

Thought Camilla and the queen looked fab. The suits women were stunning. Loved Amal’s dress. Lady kitty and Earl Spencer’s wife also stood out.

Didn’t like Victoria beckham’s outfit at all and the red shoes looked awful. Oprah looked dreadful and I liked Serena’s hat but the dress was not flattering and I didn’t like the insipid non-colour they both wore. I don’t think that colour suits anyone.

Wasn’t sure about her day outfit but Priyanka Chopra’s evening dress was absolutely stunning.

Awful lot of people chewing gum yesterday. Joss Stone, David Beckham and one of Beatrice/Eugenie but I get them muddled up.

Why go to all that effort and then look like an absolute wrong’un chewing gum in church. I don’t like it anywhere but at a wedding and a royal one at that
