Meghan's dress was lovely but lumpy looking,/ill fitting bra look

Anyone else notice how lumpy it looked at front like when you wear a bra that's two small and you have two cleavages lt spoiled it for me tbh though l think she looked stunning. I thought it might just be the light as it is quite shimmery but have noticed it in several shots /light now. A wardrobe malfunction?

You can't please some folk eh. Nonsense about quadruple boob.
Thank God Meghan doesn't give a flying f**k about what you think.

BertrandRussell · 21/05/2018 23:14

Not a Corbtn fan either.

HelenaDove · 21/05/2018 23:15

I wonder if Grazia magazine will dare to "shrink" her waist like they did to Kates Hmm

biscuitraider · 21/05/2018 23:57

Most people wouldn't give a flying f**k whether she does or doesn't.

But i really can't understand the mentality, why do so many defend her if she doesn't give a fuck. She certainly won't give a fuck about those that do. Grin

PasstheStarmix · 22/05/2018 06:01

‘why do so many defend her‘

Biscuit are we in the playground?

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 22/05/2018 06:41

Loved the one article I read reporting on Katy Perry’s comments with a pic of her looking absolutely appalling in a shocker of a white outfit next to a pic of Meghan looking stunning in her wedding dress, here

I think it made its point about the value of Katy Perry’s opinion on what a well fitted dress should look like! Grin

Interesting that she perfectly proves my point about how conditioned most are to the skin tight, spray on look on celebs now.

gerispringer · 22/05/2018 06:47

The dress looks gorgeous in the official photos. It wasn’t supposed to be tight or revealing. It was elegant and stylish. I guess those complaining would rather she wore a frilly low cut. meringue or a really tight fitting number. The. Stella Mcartney evening gown also stunning.

ImNotMeImSomeoneElse · 22/05/2018 06:51

Are people 'defending Meghan'? Or are they simply giving their opinions, something that I am sure you would agree that have the right to do.

Its a sad thing that some people are clearly so unhappy that they revel in attempting to bring others down. I'm starting to feel really sorry for some individuals on this thread.

traciebanbanjo · 22/05/2018 06:58

That's just petty comparing a Katy Perry stage outfit to a wedding dress.

Still Meghan's doing her job, distracting the plebs and entertaining so no one rises up against the 0.01% that own most of the country.

SoupDragon · 22/05/2018 06:59

It’s not petty, it’s funny.

traciebanbanjo · 22/05/2018 07:03

It's apples and pears. That "joke" needs more work

SoupDragon · 22/05/2018 07:07

Nope. Works just fine. They didn’t even have to say anything.

Ohsuchaperfectday · 22/05/2018 08:14

Oh apologies br I just saw few threads where you seemed to be querying a few things related to the royals and wedding and meghans feminist credentials..

She is an absolutely stunning woman.. Everything is perfect. Her eyes are amazing... Of coursework not everyone thinks she is, I'm not keen on Erin o Connor.. But to me she is a stunner. Some of those wedding shots...

I agree with pp who said gown had movement.. Fabric looked luxurious.

You don't want tight.. Tight sitting.. Tight walking...

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 22/05/2018 08:23

Except that’s not a stage outfit Hmm That’s what she wore to the Met gala this year. The fact that you leapt to the conclusion that it was a stage outfit says everything that needs to be said about it, really.

SoupDragon · 22/05/2018 09:31

I just googled ^Katy Perry red carpet and there are some shockers. There’s one in bright blue with what look to be eyes on her breasts that shows she has no right to criticise the fit of other people’s dresses.

traciebanbanjo · 22/05/2018 09:37

People wear stupid stuff on the red carpet as it's all about the attention, different to a weddin. They could have easily made a good joke about KP. She was even dressed as a bride for at !east two music videos.

I think you misunderstand the Met Gala. Grin

Even “stupid stuff” should fit properly.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 22/05/2018 10:30

I think you misunderstand the Met Gala.

Not really. Some of the outfits worn to it in recent years are stunning examples of fashion. Katy Perry, in contrast, looks as if someone let her loose in the dressing up box for half an hour.

And those "opinions* can be critical too if people so wish. Or should we all have to have the same opinion and say how wonderful it all is. What makes you think people are unhappy and that they are "revelling" in bringing someone down. It was a royal wedding, a huge event, no one was getting "brought down", let people have their say without accusing them of being nasty. Not everyone loved the dress, no harm in people saying so and the reasons why.

Lweji · 22/05/2018 11:18

@TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross

You also misunderstood my comment. It was in relation to the Met Gala being different from a stage.

ImNotMeImSomeoneElse · 22/05/2018 11:49

Funny thing is, I have never once made any suggestion that people should not have their own opinions, so I'm not sure why you are asking that question.

What makes you think people are unhappy and that they are "revelling" in bringing someone down

Comprehension skills and life experience. People content with their life generally look at a wedding such as Harry and Meghan's, which is clearly a love match and appreciate the good stuff. Unhappy people tend more to want to find fault, often to make up for their own sense of inadequacy. (It's often not justified, but people feel how they feel). Of course, it's not an absolute rule, but it's definitely a 'thing'.

And no, I'm not saying I'm perfect. I know that I have the same tendencies myself.

Not everyone loved the dress, no harm in people saying so and the reasons why

No, no harm in yet again women being fair game for criticism. Except there is. The whole acceptability of making women fair game for judgement on how they look is very damaging. And it's everywhere.

biscuitraider · 22/05/2018 12:22

I agree, women shouldn't be fair game for criticism, but this was a royal wedding, according to every single television reporter of the day, the whole world was agog waiting to see THAT DRESS. The focus was on the bride as has always been the case at weddings. "That dress" costs thousands, Meghan Markle puts that much emphasis on clothes she wore a £50.000 dress for her engagement.....so yes people will naturally talk about the dress, or is it only ok if we gush about how wonderful it is....why wouldn't people have an opinion. All royal brides dresses get talked about, but probably no one remembers what the grooms wore. If celebs and royals don't want criticism of their clothes then don't put such huge emphasis on them.

Also if you don't like to read anything negative about MMs dress, you should equally not want to read about how lovely it is, because accordingly it shouldn't matter what they wear. You can't have it both ways.

biscuitraider · 22/05/2018 12:29

Imnotme I think it's the unhappy people who pick holes in others posts. People are just discussing the wedding dress of a royal bride, no harm is being done. Not everyone has to like it, MM isn't likely to see or care. It's you that sounds a bit unhappy.Just chill out and let people have their say. They really won't be unhappy, after leaving this thread they'll probably go out and do nice things, it'll be forgotten about, it's not a big deal.

ImNotMeImSomeoneElse · 22/05/2018 12:31

Well you seen to be trying to pick holes in my posts, so....
