I’m guessing you don’t mean wedges & ketchup? Grin

ConfusedWife1234 · 15/05/2018 21:18

Nope, not really.... btw I have no idea why but two of my kids hate ketchup. Yes, really... and one of those ketchup haters named advertisement as his favorite food. Yes, my kids are weird.

Im confused, you don't normally have a baked potato with dip.

If you aren't a native speaker could you mean something different?

FASH84 · 15/05/2018 21:30

Do you mean jacket potatoes or wedges?

Quittingthyme · 15/05/2018 21:30

Try cutting the jackey in half, scooping out the potato, mixing with cheese and serve in 'sea of beans' - cheesy boats!

SneakyGremlins · 15/05/2018 21:31

Potato wedges are usually what you'd have with a dip? I just buy them frozen

Wellthisunexpected · 15/05/2018 21:31

This is a baked potato

Placemarking just to see what OP means, I can’t imagine what a baked potato with dip is ... chips & mayo??

FASH84 · 15/05/2018 21:32

Which of these OP?

@boatass stop being a dick. The op isn't a native speaker, as she's said. We're trying to help her.

ConfusedWife1234 · 15/05/2018 21:34

loks shocked Did I always use this word wrong? How does one call it if you put a whole potatoe into tin foil, put it into the oven, serve with a dip from (for example) curd cheese and spices?

OP posts:
FASH84 · 15/05/2018 21:35

@boatass rude. OP has explained she's a non native English speaker

sadeyedladyofthelowlandsea · 15/05/2018 21:36

Do you mean jacket potatoes? In which case, brush with olive oil, add garlic salt & pepper prior to cooking.

Fillings... tuna mayonnaise, baked beans, Red Leiceister/Stilton cheese, crispy bacon, etc. Or, remove from oven after cooking, slice in half, add butter, cheese & chopped onion, toast under grill for ten minutes. Some, none, or all of the above, basically. Smile

For wedges/chips - veggie onion gravy, mayonnaise, hummus, guacamole, salsa, cheesy stuff, blitzed sweetcorn, American mustard, onion chutney, tartar sauce...

FASH84 · 15/05/2018 21:36

OP yes that's a baked potato (sometimes called jacket potato in the UK). Do you mean something to go on top of it?

ConfusedWife1234 · 15/05/2018 21:36

I meant to say looks not loks

Fash The third one.

GinIsIn · 15/05/2018 21:37

Do you mean filling?

Synecdoche · 15/05/2018 21:37

Baked beans, hummous, tuna mayonnaise with/out sweetcorn and finely chopped red onion, melted cheese, mild beef chilli, ratatouille, sauteed greens with bacon pardons, onion and garlic...all great on baked potatoes!

FASH84 · 15/05/2018 21:38

I love a baked potato with sour cream and cheese. DH likes beans on his (sometimes with BBQ sauce mixed in) or left over roast chicken mixed with mayo and bacon. Cottage cheese is nice too.

FoofFighter · 15/05/2018 21:39

Filling OP :)

My 4yo loves the usuals of tuna Mayo, beans, (soya)cheese/cheese spread.

My faves are egg mayo (weird but goood!) and curry mackerel in the wee tins

ConfusedWife1234 · 15/05/2018 21:40

No, not filling, dip... but less me guess... the English do not serve their baked potatoes with dip.

Turns red, is embarrassed, goes hiding in a hole forget about the question.
