there are thousands of women who get married without one or both parents being there - me included. It's not the end of the world! You are still marrying the person you love. Who cares who walks you down the aisle? My brother did the duties for me, and my mother did it for my sister.

3 out of her 4 kids divorced. Her husband racially insulting most cultures for years, one dil filmed toe sucking her lover while those 2 granddaughters do jack shit. Youngest son dropped out of the army as it was too hard and his wife was caught in a press sting slagging off other royals.
Her daughter marrying and divorcing twice, her oldest son wanting to be his mistresses tampon, the mistress he thought wifey should accept and his wife finally dying, convinientky in a car crash with her lover after smashing up one marriage on the way, not her own.

William and Harry seem remarkably normal but god yes what a disfunctional family.

I think it’s been given the go ahead because the RF has become more accepting of “less than desirable” matches. It wouldn’t have happened for Charles and his siblings.

You’d think with all the resources at the RF’s beck and call that all this could have been sorted. Is it really true that Harry hasn’t met Mr M? I’d so, ffs. The totally dysfunctional waste of space RF are a disgrace - why on Earth have such a bloody display of a wedding anyway? As a country we are completely bonkers

Because people are interested in other people. Why do you think Shakespeare wrote Henry VIII or Richard the III about his contemporaries or why do you think people watch history programmes or films?

People are interested in the lives of others. I think people who can’t understand that are a bit devoid of imagination.

I feel sorry for the man. He's been described as shy and reclusive. Probably suffering from social anxiety of some sort. Someone like that must be incredibly nervous about the whole thing. The press attention won't be helping. I'm not surprised he's had a wobble.

How many people have stresses, family arguments, parents not wanting to sit near exes, difficulties on who would walk you down the isle if your not close to your dad etc

Difference is this is one of the most famous families in the world and they are in the public eye.

Don't feel sorry for them, Meghan could have warned Harry about her dysfunctional background and opted for a very small wedding, it is her 2nd (rumoured 3rd) after all. Nothing wrong with facing facts, admitting the truth and preventing chaos.
