To wonder if a quick flash of boob is going to hurt anyone?

Me and DP surf he surf's, I'm completely shit so this means we spend a lot of time getting changed in beach car parks.

I was thinking today... WIBU to stop struggling to cover my boobs when changing and just quickly whip my top off and pop my bra back on in the car park?

I wear a high necked top under my wetsuit and struggling out the wettie and the top under a changing robe then trying to get a bra on with really achey biceps is a bloody faff and takes ages and usually results in a lot of swearing. I also sometimes need DPs help to pull the shoulders of my wetsuit down which makes covering up really hard.

As I was struggling today and saw DP quickly amd easily yank down the top half of his wetsuit I thought maybe I should just do the same in future.

What do we think?

I used to kayak and regularly change in car park. I just went for the fast option. But if you want privacy you could get a robie (so?!). It's basically a towel with a head hole in the middle so gives some protection.

BuggerOffAndGoodDayToYou · 13/05/2018 14:34

IMO just a whip off of the top and in with the bra as quickly as possible is the way to go. I wouldn’t find it offensive in the slightest so long as you were quick and discreet - facing car etc.

Bridesmaidinchief · 13/05/2018 14:35

I would not be outraged by a flash of boob from someone changing at a beach. Do whatever is easiest I say!

This is what string bikinis were invented for. (Untie & whip off)

And those big towels

But, but...they’re FEMALE LADY BOOBS 😱😱😱😱😱😱

People might Be Offended.

But seriously: go for it. It’s nigh on impossible to wriggle out of a wetsuit without being a contortionist, never mind also worrying about who can see what!!

GladAllOver · 13/05/2018 14:42

Not a big deal at all. Just do it.

TheSpottedZebra · 13/05/2018 14:45

And/Or forego the bra and make getting dressed even easier?

Aeroflotgirl · 13/05/2018 14:46

Nah, would you be offended if a man did that, no, same for a woman.

Creambun2 · 13/05/2018 14:52

No, not acceptable and common.

VileyRose · 13/05/2018 14:54

I use a dryrobe

BlueJava · 13/05/2018 14:58

I just get changed in the car park and don't worry.

Thisnamechanger · 13/05/2018 14:59

I have really sticky out nips which will show through pretty much anything and we often go to Starbucks or something on the way home. Started a MN thread about my wanting to go braless but having perky nips actually... most people said they thought it was "attention seeking".

"Attention seeking" is now the term for perky nips in my house Grin

Already have a robie (have in on now actually). It's still a fucking mare getting out of a wetsuit in, especially with achey arms Sad

What do you and your husband think? I would base my decision on that rather than what strangers would...
if someone notices they’re looking too closely and would be either perving or looking to be offended. If you don’t mind the chance they’re perving, then go for it.

Carboholic · 13/05/2018 15:04

I'd turn away from people and be quick. You could put on a loose Tshirt quickly, and then install the bra under it?

KenAdams · 13/05/2018 15:04

Change into a Sleeveless Relax Bra Dress&utmmedium=affiliate-shopping&utmcampaign=WOMEN Sleeveless Relax Bra Dress bra dress. Pop it over your head, pull down wetsuit then pull down your dress. Job done.

KenAdams · 13/05/2018 15:05

Whoops hyperlink fail!

Scentofwater · 13/05/2018 15:09

I’ve seen people cleverly hang a really big towel between an open car door (I think trapped in the window) and the car boot. Might be an option if you get self conscious?

I just go for the quick option. Gentlemen/ women don’t look and the rest don’t matter.

SmileEachDay · 13/05/2018 15:09

I have a sort of crop top bra thing made of quite robust material.

It slides on easily and with a t shirt it stops any unwanted attention seeking 😂😂

Whitney168 · 13/05/2018 15:12

I frankly couldn't give a monkey's, but I wonder if people would be so blase about a bloke changing and flashing his penis as their kids walked past?

Thingywhatsit · 13/05/2018 15:13

Struggling to see how this is so hard. I used to do it all the time.... (pre having two kids!)

Bikini, rash vest and wetsuit. Remove wetsuit and rash vest. Put Robie on. Remove bikini and get dressed! Simples!!!

Or just whip it all off and get a bra on quick. It's not as if you will be dancing around the car park putting your boobs in people's faces!!!!

Mummyoflittledragon · 13/05/2018 15:13

Can you get your dh to help you? He could act as your shield. If your is the easiest I don’t find it offensive.

Thisnamechanger · 13/05/2018 15:14

if you get self conscious

I'm not in the slightest I just don't want to offend anyone.

FissionChips · 13/05/2018 15:14

Just pop your bra on under your tshirt when back in the car.
