So we were driving home from our bank holiday Monday trip out today and drove past the tail end of the marathon. I was suddenly overcome with emotion and started crying all all the runners 😂 (p.s I am pregnant so I have an excuse - unlike Vatican wailer 😂😂😂😂)

Bridget Jones' Baby - the bit where she tells her dad she's pregnant, because I realised that may never happen to me

MissCherryCakeyBun · 07/05/2018 20:50

This thread....I'm now sniffling into my cup of tea

MycatsaPirate · 07/05/2018 20:53

Just watched Pitch Perfect 3 again and got all emotional at the end when they were singing George Michael's song. A) because it was a lovely ending and b) because GM is dead and we won't ever get more new music from him.

I am not pregnant.

Justabadwife · 07/05/2018 20:57

Anything to do with old people and I'm a mess.
I was thinking about that episode of Sherlock the other day, where they killed the old lady, and I was bawling. It's not even real ffs.

Alltheprettyseahorses · 07/05/2018 21:00

HeartshapedFox - so what's Rubble's origin story then? I absolutely need to know this now Grin

LadyLooLaa · 07/05/2018 21:02

Everything. I cry at everything.

JiminyBillyBob · 07/05/2018 21:02

That mobile phone advert from about 15 years ago where the old phone is trudging the streets sadly because nobody wants him 😢

Mrstumbletap · 07/05/2018 21:05

I always cry when I watch groups of people sing really passionately in choirs or in musicals, on Britains got talent or a you tube video or if I go to see a musical.

Songs like the ‘solidarity’ one in Billy Elliot the musical. 😭

I don’t know why, but groups of people passionately doing something I cry, even when I’m not pregnant, why??

IthinkIsawahairbrushbackthere · 07/05/2018 21:06

It was an insurance ad on tv 20+ years ago where a father finds positive pregnancy test. He shouts at his daughters "I thought we told you to be careful!" and his wife interrupts with "It was us that should have been careful!"

Everytime it made me cry!

If I watch it on Youtube I cry all over again!

causeimunderyourspell · 07/05/2018 21:08

Totally outing, but pregnant on holiday visiting a paradise park they had a dolphin show. Within 30 seconds of the show starting, I ran off bawling my eyes out. Seeing these beautiful intelligent creatures doing stupid tricks with a beach ball in this tiny pool just really got to me. I was literally snotty-crying very publicly, dh still takes the piss to this day!

Tobebythesea · 07/05/2018 21:09

When I was pregnant I clearly remember sobbing at burning a piece of toast. My DH couldn’t stop laughing which made me sob louder and then I got hiccups Smile

Emma198 · 07/05/2018 21:09

I just cried at Aiden and Eva dancing in corrie. I am also pregnant!

Tobebythesea · 07/05/2018 21:09

I have a photo of the burnt toast as well and I laugh now but at the time....

Zaphodsotherhead · 07/05/2018 21:11

MissCherry - me too (and I am not pregnant either).

I also cry at the Barclays ads, as soon as the black horse appears. It reminds me so much of my old boy who's no longer with us.

iklboo · 07/05/2018 21:14

DH used a normal knife instead of the butter knife we have just for spready stuff. It was my late nana's butter knife and I felt he was disrespecting her (she died almost 12 years before I met him, 17 years before the 'incident'). Yes, I was pregnant.

seastargirl · 07/05/2018 21:14

My husband opening a pack of plastic cutlery that came in a plastic wrapper for me. I was pregnant and suffering extreme morning sickness and nausea and we had finally found the only food I fancied, him opening the cutlery was apparently the nicest thing anyone had ever done .

Threeminis · 07/05/2018 21:15

@LadyLooLaa Me Too!! Everything!

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 07/05/2018 21:17

Possibly Toy Story 3:

"What? You want your mommy back? She never loved you. Ain't no kid ever loved a toy really."

Bastard bear.

Mulberry72 · 07/05/2018 21:17

The end bit of In The Night Garden, when Iggle Piggle gets under his little blanket in his boat.

Makes me howl (not with laughter!) every single time! Blush

samlovesdilys · 07/05/2018 21:21

'Dogger' by Shirley Hughes gets me every time...my kids laugh now but it the bit where they look and Look and can't find him😢

Tiredtomybones · 07/05/2018 21:22

Same as PP, for me it's ambulances. I live near a main road that links to an ambulance station so it's a fairly regular occurrence. It's because of the times I've had to call ambulances for DS and then wait the agonising few minutes until I see them pulling down my road, and the gratitude I feel, and the worry and panic... it all rolls together and I think of the person the ambulance is heading to, or who is on board. I hope I never ever have to ring 999 for DS again, but I realise how very lucky we are to have the wonderful paramedics and ambulance service in this country. If any are reading this, thank you, a thousand times.

Lauren83 · 07/05/2018 21:27

When pregnant last year I decided DP didn't like one of my 6 cats he 'inherited' when he met me, I sobbed for 40 minutes over it, he had always been lovely to all the cats i don't know where it came from!

NoSleepNever · 07/05/2018 21:29

It was a local elderly couple. The husband and wife were in their mobility scooters travelling along the pavement, they went along side each other at the same pace and the husband hung back to wait for his wife when she stopped for something. I bawled my eyes out in the car (not whilst pregnant).

maclippy · 07/05/2018 21:29

A few months ago, my cousin my friend and I were watching old clips of EastEnders at my mum and dad’s house, the first clip we watched was Ethel dying and at the bit where Ethel says “ You’re the best friend I ever had.” we all burst into tears. Actually full on sobbing. Then when Wellard died we all sobbed harder.
Then a few weeks ago when Dobby died on Harry Potter, I had to fight back tears when he said that he was happy to be with friends. 😭Sad

vampirethriller · 07/05/2018 21:29

I can't sing O Holy Night without crying.
Pregnant at the moment and today have cried at:
The sea was pretty on Poldark
Baby Julia died on Poldark
Advert with the ballet dancer who only has one leg
My dog was really happy
I forgot to buy squash
N Trance's 1998 cover of Da Ya Think I'm Sexy.
